Qoncept and Twitch produce "bass music", in the form of Dubstep, Drumstep, Drum & Bass, Electro House or combinations of these 4 styles, and most tracks feature full vocals. "We try and offer a bit of a variation on the traditional structure of this type of music by including verses, choruses, bridges etc. while still including the epic drops that people expect from bass music".

Tom and Michael joined togther as a duo in August 2011. the benefits of the partnership are that they both bring skills which the other does not possess: Michael plays piano and guitar, giving him a more musical background and is an experienced DJ, whereas Tom provides the lyrics and the vocals for the tracks. Both Tom and Michael work equally on the production of the music as they have both been producing since they were teenagers. The combination of these skills is looking to be of benefit to the duo, as the tracks they currently have in progress are surpassing even their own expectations.

As of recently, Qoncept and Twitch can be found performing their tracks live around their local area. “Their live show blurs the line between a traditional, raw, live band performance and the excitement of a high energy DJ set...” they are now looking to develop and progress the act by introducing live instruments, including midi controllers, keyboards, loop pedals and possibly guitars.

The pair foresee a long musical partnership in both the studio and on stage, and look forward to producing a lot of tracks and EP’s together in the future.
