@kikikokolores, originally from Berlin, has always been passionate about music of many different styles and colours. For some years now as a DJ and party-organizer she is an integral part of the nightlife in Kassel, where she lives and works. She is also a member and co-founder of the collective Dreiradfahrt, whose mission is to spread magical electronic sounds among the people. During the pandemic - like many of us - Kiki Kokolores was limited to be playing at home, where she discovered her love for the slower side of electronic music, a love you will perceive in every minute of her beautiful, groovy and rousing set. After 10 years of pushing the envelope of Bass music, Leeds based J.Sparrow launches his own record label "Navy Cut".

"Navy Cut" promises to explore new territory in Sound System music by focusing on quality releases by some of the worlds talented producers.

NC001 introduces a new project between Leo James (Ruckspin, Author, Submotion Orchestra) and Ed Gooden (Quark).

"Speak Back" the A side is very reminiscent of early "Rhythm and Sound" featuring Shanee Pink on vocals.

The B side ventures into a more sound system style Steppas affair featuring moody guitar by Ed Gooden.

To finish off this debut release Egoless; one of Croatia's finest exports completely flips the A side with a lively remix.

Future releases by Navy Cut will feature music by J.Sparrow, Author, RWild and guests.
