Glittering Noises (Designed for Natuzzi)

The work is made up of a virtual spiral of sound that have characterized the radical change in the relationship between real and virtual space and time in the past century. Sounds are articulated in seconds, distributed over the entire height of the spiral, turning it into a macro-clock sound, paradigm of what it represents. Progressively they retrace back the historical time and the sound becomes a metaphor of the past decades spent. From high fidelity signal (hi-fi), pure and clear, to low fidelity signal (lo-fi), saturated and disturbed. Sound as the language of changes and transformations. Time as the rhythm of changes and of its biggest contradiction between eternal and ephemeral.
