[Premiere] FTL - For The Headz

Originally released some time ago on Mains Courantes and cut on dubplates, I've received the green light from Victor to distribute these two tunes on my own.

Busted Riddim is a stripped down dubstep wobbler, no frill, just bass weight tailor made for big speakers, while the version puts a 170bpm dub jungle spin on it.

JUDDER label presents Judder Compilation #3: a new collection of tracks from bass-oriented music producers

This time, the compilation brings together 16 tracks from producers around the world — both emerging and established — as well as live artists who create music exclusively using hardware.

As always, the release showcases a wide spectrum of electronic bass music, with tempos ranging from 120 to 170 BPM. JUDDER continues to blend diverse approaches to sound and push the boundaries of the genre.

[PREMIERE] TRAKA - Dart Magic (JRCMPL003)

"My biggest inspiration for writing music are my own experiences. That is usually the catalyst that pushes me to start a new track. Countless late night chats at shows, silly moments in my daily life, or special moments that I wish I could frame and hang on my wall. When I open up Ableton, I pretend I’m writing the soundtrack for a specific slice of life. 
My creative choices for this EP were guided by a few key things. I wanted to combine two worlds I thoroughly enjoy…bass music and hip hop. That’s always something that gets me hyped. Another guiding creative force, is this dragon I’ve been chasing since 2016 when I first heard Kursa’s track, Pick Em Up. This tune, with it’s pounding hip hop drums, invokes a darkness I seek in left field music and tried to tap into with this EP. This tune was a staple in my sets for years as it was both something that usually perked a dancer’s attention, while also doubling as a DJ tool to dip into bass music or footwork. With trends in dance music coming and going, I remain obsessed with this combination. Lastly, I tried to create m a s s I v e baselines that would make teenage me bass face while yelling “ooooh” and gripping onto the rail at the front of any rave.  As this started to shape into a full project, I decided I was not gonna hold myself to rigid deadlines and take my time to craft this album out until I felt satisfied with the end result.
One time, Rau and I were at a music festival and I hung my shoes under one of the stages. They stayed there throughout the weekend, safe and undisturbed. The photo of my shoes hanging there makes us giggle and we turned it into a missing poster for this EP. Inspired by a story we made up of a raver that fell in love with footwork so passionately that they had to take their shoes off due to how hot their feet felt while dancing, never to be seen again (the shoes). "

The duo Two Turntable returns with strong creative energy on their new release, Inspire Me EP, delivering two Liquid Drum and Bass tracks shaped by introspection and sonic experimentation.

The opening track, “My Jazz is Jungle”, acts as a bridge between tradition and innovation: deep, organic basslines intertwine with jazz-inspired improvisations, recreating an atmosphere that nods to the genre’s roots while pushing into contemporary territory. The beats flow smoothly, guiding the listener through a journey that shifts between contemplation and motion.

The title track, “Inspire Me”, expands on this concept with an even more immersive approach. Here, the basslines take on a more experimental character, blending with ethereal pads and pulsating rhythms that evoke both hope and reflection. The result is an emotive Liquid DnB experience—subtle yet powerful.

With this EP, Two Turntable reaffirms their identity as artists unafraid to break formulas, exploring the less obvious paths of Drum and Bass. Inspire Me EP is both a celebration of craft and an invitation to look inward—perfect for listeners who see electronic music not only as beats, but as stories and states of mind.
