Made using samples that came from Black Pain.... Hip hop originated as protest music and now is the most influential genre in the world. The stigma of being poor and oppressed is what hip hop is made of all the way down to the technique of the production... We werent priviledged enough to have live drums sets, pianos keyboards etc in our homes. Or even money to pay for music lessons. So we used what we had and sampled and rearranged music we grew up listening to. Alot of the words we rapped over that music we concocted were testiments to our trials and tribulations of bein young and black in the inner cities.. Some of it was about havin a good time but alot of it came from pain. Black Pain.
