The 2nd and final single from Da Youngstas ILLY Funkstaz 4th/final album "I'll Make U Famous" 

The single only managed to peak at #24 on the Bubbling Under Hot R&B Singles chart for 4 weeks. The trio now duo later took a break in 1997.

Coming off a vacation The Italian Job was a passion project that was inspired from having a peaceful and healthy life style. Larry June embodies this life style and so using only Italian samples the album was born.

sampling the Roy Ayers jazz classic "We Live in Brooklyn", 
i came into my own as a hiphop music producer once i made this record.

the Smif-n-Wessun album cover was inspired by this song, re-creating the cover art from 
the Roy Ayers album "He's Comin" where i got the sample from.
