Here's the last Episode from my radioshow on Saturo Sounds called The Age of Aquarius and this time my special guest was Parra For Cuva! 

Parra for Cuva's sonic identity can be encapsulated in a single word: Wanderlust. 

Renowned for a distinct sense of worldliness, his music, combined with stunning visuals, creates a magical realm where the resonance of Caribbean steel drums may intertwine with ancient Zimbabwean instruments and transports the listener to distant lands. With chart-topping singles and two acclaimed albums, Majouré and Darwîś, Parra for Cuva's breakthrough came with the release of Paspatou. 

Unafraid to blend dance floor experimentations with acoustic and ethnic soundscapes, his fourth studio album, Juno, involved collaborations with musicians from around the world. Parra for Cuva has graced prestigious festivals and soldout stages globally, including Burning Man and Sziget. He also delivered captivating live sessions, such as the Cercle Music performance set against the stunning backdrop of the Mexican landscape.

Kurly is german born Sydney based DJ who is a rising force within the underground techno scene. From the very beginning of her career her performances have captivated audiences and she quickly established a reputation as sophisticated selector of Psytech as well as driving Techno tunes. Her style is versatile as it is distinctive, seamlessly weaving between dark, brooding tracks and uplifting, peak-time anthems.

„Creating this set has been a challenge as I realised that in the techno music scene the vast majority of producers is male and there is a huge gap of female DJs and producers. However, for me it was very clear from the start that I want to play no less than %100 female produced tracks. 
I went on a beautiful journey trying to find female producers within my preferred genres and go beyond the few world known names. I found great pleasure in finding some of these artist and will be more conscious of playing more FLINTA produced tracks in all sets moving forward.
The set I created evolves in an emotional, vulnerable but nonetheless powerful way showcasing different strengths and challenges of being a woman.

The sound is a little different to my usual style - a smooth journey with longer transitions intended to take your mind to new places.
I hope it inspires more FLINTA to pursue their dreams and block out the noise of discouragement and criticism from others.
Music is all about community and sharing the joy with the people around us, we need to protect this spirit and support each other besides our differences.“

From another century and zenned out like a master, not often do you come across a DJ and producer with a history that covers techno all the way to drum and bass and hard trance who plays directly from her heart to yours. Hailing from Sydney, Australia and now based in Tel Aviv, home is where you make it and with Qu-Zen she has certainly made that in techno. A master craftswoman whether behind the decks or working on her productions, her sounds come from the heart and will pleasure you aurally.
 
Qu-Zen has played around the world from Berlin (Tresor, Globus, KitKat Club, Roter Stahl) to Melbourne (Machine) to Croatia (Taboo Club) and all the way to Wee Jasper (Dragon Dreaming Festival). She is the resident DJ at Sydney’s local party, .darkroom supporting touring internationals including Dax J, I Hate Models, Ansome, SNTS and Randomer, not forgetting her very own sold out All Night Long party where her electric style behind the decks kept the crowds hanging on her every move for 6 hours. Qu-Zen's love of techno extends to her productions. Her release Syzygy, a collaboration with Sydney artist Trinity AU, is out now on Hypnotic Room.
