Music is like therapy. Growing up listening to artists like #Tupac, #Biggie, #Nas, #WuTang, #JCole- and that's not even half of them. Their music helped me get through a lot of shit, contributed to how I move today and even inspired me to share my story, the struggle of growing up in # Flatbush #Brooklyn and the ghetto in general. 

That's what I want to do, be the voice of the common people and anybody in the struggle. I want to let them know that I understand and feel where they're coming from. As hard as life may get, I want to inspire change and restore their faith.

Yatzel Elier Calderon Rivera (Born July 22, 2004), professionally Known As YECR He is a Puerto Rican Rapper, And Singer. YECR height is 5'7.

YECR is a 18-year-old Puerto Rican rapper and musician based in Lincoln, DE, his family is originally from Puerto Rico. Music wasn’t YECR first passion, YouTube was. He first picked up his iPad at the age of 12, he made videos, went live, and even made videos of him playing games like Fortnite, Roblox, GTA, and Ice Station Z.

In November of 2020, YECR found out that his passion to do and make YouTube Videos was gone, and he wanted to take a different path and he went through a list of new things he could do and saw his friends make music and he wanted to create music.

He Met an Artist named Yung Hush , and they made over 2 to 3 songs together but they both hope to keep making songs together in the future.

YECR Sings Different Kinds Of Genre, Those Include Hip-Hop/Rap, Reggaeton, And Urban Latino. YECR’s social media has gained attention during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

He went viral Multiple Times On TikTok, Where Thats How He Has Grown So Much On Instagram And On His Music.

 He Plans To Someday Collaborate With Anuel AA, Pailita, Jhay Cortez, SSGKobe, SVRITE, and SoFaygo.
