The Fresh Cut Boi EP marks an exciting collaboration between two artists, Artsychoke and Rodney Dinkles. This four-track EP spans genres including Hard Dance, Tech House, Breakbeats, and Minimal Techno, with a standout remix by the talented L3NA. This EP not only showcases the diverse musical influences of both artists but also serves as a testament to their distinctive labels: Quack Squawk Honk and Qwerk Records. Each track embodies their unique sound while pushing boundaries and exploring new territories. In addition to their individual projects, Artsychoke, Rodney Dinkles and Taylor Wooja co-lead a DJ collective called Qwerk and Quack. Bringing together talent from across the United States (including L3NA herself), the collective has many exciting endeavors on the horizon. The title track, Fresh Cut Boi, is a playful and high-energy Hard Dance anthem inspired by Tibby The Dawg, who truly embodies the essence of a fresh cut boi. The tracks fun, lighthearted vibe is complemented by the cover art, which features Monkey, Rodney Dinkles dog, who is equally deserving of the title fresh cut dapper boi.

Here is the first single off an upcoming Artsychoke Album Massacre is a breakbeats track that gets in your face, not just with the bass, but the lyrics shedding light on the harsh reality that places like Palestine, Congo and Ukraine have been facing. Disguised as a club banger, this track is an act of protest against the current American administration and an act of protest against genocide everywhere.
