The berlin based dj presents a mix of disco and house music, flavoured with the occasional sprinkle of soulful vibes, crisp 90s hip hop samples and synths. As the co-founder of the ‚Disko, No Disko‘ he brings joy to the people, regardless wether he’s behind the decks or arranges the line up for the party series in the Humboldthain Club in Berlin. With the pandemic shutting down the opportunities for playing in front of likeminded house heads, Almost Famous focuses on bringing positive energy to the people in the form of mixtapes and podcasts, still with the same goal to share music and:

After compiling and planning in my head for close to a year, I finally sat down to create the 11 Years of Soul Clap Records mix a week before the deadline. It wasn't that I wasn't inspired, it was exactly the opposite, there were just too many song and ideas spinning around in my head to get focused. I knew that the only way that I was going to fit all the music I needed to onto the mix would be using Ableton. So returning to my days of detail oriented cut-n-paste mixes (EFUNK: The Mixtape, DJ Kicks, Fabric) I got deep into the groove of the label that I know inside and out. But even with my intimate knowledge, I was not prepared for all the musical surprises I stumbled onto while splicing these 33 tracks into four distinct musical movements. When the dust had settled and I listened back, I felt like I had truly captured the spirit of the label, and I shed a tear for all the good times and hard times that this music has soundtracked. I couldn't be more proud of all the music included on this mix and I hope that love shines through your speakers and inspires your ears for years to come.
