The time has finally come to have Kwartz in this house again and we couldn’t be more satisfied with the quality of the work he has delivered. It is clear that his new residency at the best techno club on the planet, Berghain, has helped his inspiration multiply exponentially and this is definitely reflected in this brand new work that leaves us wanting more.

Four slices of techno with all the letters, which define exactly what the genre should be without seasonal additives, dynamic electronic dance music, without an expiration date, which could be signed thirty years ago or in the distant future.

Mario does not entertain himself with extreme speeds, nor with predictable developments, nor with pre-cooked sounds. His approach to musical creation is slow and artisanal, meditating and maturing each of the ingredients he uses, without fear of being left out of the media radar.

This entire procedure is reflected in the excellent result, The Golden Hour is a perfect example of everything said above. Strong and firm rhythms, constantly evolving arrangements, elaborate sound design and a firm dance attitude.

Enter The Zone turns the rhythm towards broken bass drums, slightly presses the accelerator and introduces disturbing atmospheres combined with organic percussion details in a masterful way. A true catalyst for expert mixers.

On side B, Under Control once again breaks tradition with a broken, hypnotic and continuous rhythm, a first-rate brain driller for the club's peak moments.

The EP ends with Animal Instinct, which does not lower the intensity one bit, adding an overwhelming rhythm with dynamic percussive details, with no room for rest, perfect for the dancers to travel to unknown dimensions.

After the climate and political catastrophe that Valencia has endured, with a severe storm affecting over 800,000 people, the community has come together to lift the future of Valencia out of the mud. From day one, Gordo Trax has sought to help by bringing together producers of all kinds in a series of charity V.A. releases aimed at supporting local neighbourhood associations, animal welfare organisations, associations for people with special needs, and providing essential goods. "Germanor" is the Valencian word for "brotherhood," and in this second release, we unite international artists like Blawan & Wallis, Oscar Mulero, Lewis Fautzi, Nørbak, Peder Mannerfelt, Cora Novoa, and many others who have selflessly pitched in during such a difficult time for the city.

The next release is the sixth CD / album release for London-based Aesir Records, which has a strong underground mentality and has previously included artists like Stephan Krus, Juan Trujillo, Drucal, and The Machinists.

Based in Montenegro, Vakat has emerged as a prominent presence in the country's techno scene after sharing a booth with artists like Insolate, Lewis Fautzi, Chris Liebing, and Jeff Mills.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "My Man in NYC" with a catchy, modular hook that rips the analogue airwaves. The raw and hypnotic style has a gritty underbelly, but it's the psychedelic tones and groovy percussion that turn this into a dance floor monster.
