In 2012 Argie visited the city of Amsterdam to expand his ideas and vision of his own production. The city and the electronic vibe that hosted enticed him into staying permanently and focus body and sole on his development as a producer; which inspired him to practice the Hybrid Live mixing in the long run. Argie uses analogue instruments for production and lives while blending digital sounds from the long compilation of his own recorded samples. The outcome? Readily situated in a spectrum embroidered with deep breaks as a bedrock spiced up with psychedelic bleeps and techno.

Pangaea Cargo Series 009 von @kloevedj nimmt uns auf eine besondere Reise mit. Früher gerne in der Dresdner Heide auf der Suche nach der besten Freetekk unterwegs, fährt er seit 4 Jahren goudaessend mit seinem Hollandfahrrad an Tulpenfeldern entlang. 
Aber seit zwei Jahren lässt er das Fahrrad öfter stehen und stellt sich lieber an die Decks und das so gut, dass er mittlerweile auch Teil von @thecave050 ist.
In seinem Mix nimmt er uns auf einen trippy Ausflug mit.  Dabei entstehen Soundgebilde aus Electro, Breakbeat und House, die einladen zu verweilen. Wir sind noch im Wunderland, aber hört selbst.

No money, no honey goes the saying. So, with that in mind, Honey Soundsystem Records returns to the aisles of your favorite (and least favorite) record stores with a money $hot 12 inch. Honey Soundsystem has been on the road seemingly non-stop, visiting foreign cities and meeting delightful characters on the way. This EP is a “tour diary” of sorts, 4 tunes that have been road tested to the nth degree and now we want our friends, fans, and foes to have them too.

A1 features a track by San Francisco’s Sepehr - the most ID requested track from our Chapter 10 Boiler Room finally revealed. A2 is by Stockholm’s Henrik Bergqvist, a tune Jackie got his hands on after a crazy night of MDMA and accidentally voguing on top of Henrik’s computer bag. Derrick Carter approved the use of his voice as long as it said “Snatched from DC” thanks Derrick. B1 is by the Twink-porn worthy brothers from Berlin: Morven Son - a horny moderne Electro classic featuring a secret sample from one of the more fabulous 90s movies about a sex worker. B2 is a hidden gem demo from Bogota’s Lunate. While visiting Bogota to play a gig at the legendary Video Club, locals kept pointing their finger at one guy when referencing the man in town making the music we needed to hear. That guy was Lunate and this one of those beautiful and simple tunes you can play at the beginning, middle, or end of any night.

The best news about this release? Everyone behind these tracks are genuine people with great hearts. The honestly comes through when listening and playing them out, you’re gonna love the way you they sound, I guarantee it. Oh, and some dope artwork by Bad Mariah.

Our Kiwi/Dutch main man 'Damon Arts' was actually the homie I 'Went to Berlin Once' with originally lol!!  - Currently residing in Amsterdam, one of the nicest and happiest exports NZ has provided the EU :-)

Damon has spent the last 4 ½ years in Amsterdam working for Club De Martkantine as 'Stage Manager' (2,500 capacity venue). Some serious 'Oiiiishhhh!!' points there. 

As assumed, Damon's played in EU at places like Paloma Bar, RADION , De Martkantine, BRET Amsterdam and also Radio stations like : Mary Go Wild, MUTO Studios, Radio Nachtlab just to name a few.

We learnt to dig & DJ with this cat, so its super sick to re-witness his ever evolving music palette in action - Such a great mix, full of energy.
