Say Her Name is a song born out of heartbreak and love. It carries the memory of Hind Rajab, the 5-year-old girl from Gaza whose last words - “I’m so scared, please come” - still echo across the world. Hind’s voice was silenced, but her courage refuses to fade.

I made this song with my daughters, Qaylah and Aisha. We recorded it with heavy hearts, but also with hope - hope that by singing Hind’s name, by saying it out loud, we keep her story alive. This is our way of standing with her, of promising that she will not be forgotten.

This track is more than music for us. It’s a prayer. It’s grief and resistance woven into rhythm. It’s a father and his daughters refusing to let the world look away.

we believe in love (history of a homeland) is a Middle Eastern folk–hip hop fusion that journeys through the history of Palestine - from the 1917 Balfour Declaration, the Nakba of 1948, the 1967 occupation, Oslo, the Gaza blockade, and now the UN’s declaration of genocide in 2025.

Blending oud, darbuka, and Palestinian folk melodies with the storytelling flow of late 1970s/80s, this track bears witness to more than a century of struggle while lifting up the voices of resilience and sumud.

“waves don’t bow” is more than a rap - it’s an anthem for resistance. I wrote these lyrics in response to the ongoing blockade of Gaza, the Sumud Flotilla being intercepted at sea, and the deeply flawed proposals to place Gaza under foreign “boards” of control.

This song carries the voices of those who march in Berlin, Cape Town, Rome, Sydney, and beyond - a reminder that the tide of people power cannot be stopped by walls, drones, or signatures on paper.

Every verse was written to document this moment in history: the courage of activists on the water, the injustice of political deals written without the people, and the global chants that rise louder than bombs.

The hook - “Waves don’t bow, we rise, we climb” - is a declaration that even against overwhelming force, the will for freedom and justice moves like the ocean: unstoppable, infinite, eternal.
