There's nothing a digital musician loves more than new software. 
I got a new drum machine plug-in and said to myself I'll just jump straight in with it and make a demo. Let's see if I can work out this software. 
As is usually the way with me, the little demo grew and grew as i figured out the drum machine.
I could feel a track in the demo but couldn't decide on vocals or not.
Then i was watching TV, flicked on to the movie channel and there is Butcher Bill delivering his monolog to Leonardo.
As the track has a dark tone, the speech fit perfectly so in it went. 
So here, for your pleasure, is Fear in three flavours, beginning, middle and finale.

@etui-records welcomes dub techno wizard Van Bonn with his EP "Dopamine Clouds". The German-born lives currently in northern Europe where he draws a lot of his inspiration from his walks along the fjords, adjacent forests and open fields.

The three tracks present different facets of Van Bonn’s sound palette. The eponymous opener is a dub techno monolith. Every element is introduced after the other to generate a dub heavy groove before the break welcomes harmonious pads and contrasting dub effects that carry the listener throughout the time left of this 10:50 minutes emotional journey.

"The Drill" showcases heavily modulated chords on a forward pushing groove spiced with tonal melancholic sounds. Van Bonn only uses a very few elements in "Blurred Submission" - a slowed down dubby affair that moves away from the 4/4 kick to make space for deeply processed chords and dub signals that call for the remote future.

Van Bonn  "Dopamine Clouds" will be out on purple-translucent vinyl in black inside out cover incl. colored sticker. The artwork is based on a painting by Van Bonn and edited by timconduit.

Quantec alias Sven Schienhammer grew up in the '80s. Producing and remixing electronic music since 1995 first using hardware tools such as Rolands MC 505 and a 303 with some efx tools.

Now the studio is hardware and software in symbiosis. Using some oldschool synths from the 70's & 80's for the love of the lo-fi feeling of those machines! The sounds are digitized thoughts and emotions.

Personal favourite styles in music include detroit and dubby electronics, deep house, dub, roots reggae, drones, ambient and some experimental stuff. He also releases music as Monoaxial and Sven Schienhammer.
