Topesa Esengo Na Motema (Let Us Give Joy To The Heart) is the lead single from the forthcoming album Esengo), which means Joy in Lingala.

Sung by lead vocalist Juanita Euka, the song is an intoxicating blend of afrobeat, funk and rumba (as channeled from Juanita Euka's heritage, being the niece of the famous Congolese musician, best known simply as Franco). Topesa Esengo Na Motema is upbeat and powerful, yet light, playful and joyfully digestible, guaranteed to light a fire under you and get you off your seat!

Produced by Sonny Johns (Tony Allen and Hugh Masekela, Ali Farka Toure) the track finds the band in lighter mood, celebrating the joy of living, reconnecting and getting back on the road once more.

The single is accompanied by a remix from producer and DJ Bosq that gives the song a unique afro-latin disco twist.

Bem-Vindo! Brazilian Beat Brooklyn is a weekly party thrown at a bar called Black Betty just over the East River from Manhattan, in New York City. DJs Sean Marquand and Greg Caz preside over the long-running party (5 years) where they consistently play strictly vintage Brazilian records. In addition to the party and other DJ ventures, Sean is known as half of Embassy Sound Productions. He brought his team down to Brazil to help resurrect Black Rio legends Uniao Black for a new release. By invitation, Greg has DJ'd at some of the hottest Brazilian parties around the globe.

Far Out Monster Disco Orchestra returns with Black Sun, its second full-length album of 100% original, unadulterated disco sophistication, featuring members of the pioneering Brazilian jazz-funk trio Azymuth; a full orchestra with arrangements split between Arthur Verocai and Azymuth’s late maestro Jose Roberto Bertrami; plus members of the legendary Rio funk group Banda Black Rio.

Since its critically acclaimed self-titled debut album in 2014, the FOMDO imprint has released a string of remixes by some all-time greats of dance music, including John Morales, Theo Parrish, Mark Pritchard, Marcellus Pittman, Andres, Dego, Volcov, Kirk Degiorgio and Al Kent. To huge effect in clubs and festivals around the globe, some of the more recent remixes teased the new album material, which for the first time, is presented in its original, soul-heavy incarnation, alongside instrumental versions highlighting the album’s stunning arrangements and compositional brilliance.
