Turntables on the Hudson celebrates 20 years of Worldwide parties city to city, river to river with a special compilation pulling from Nickodemus' favorite songs over the past 2 decades. The compilation touches on some of the party anthems that kept the dancefoor moving from the start of the night till the last songs when the lights came on. The songs range from classic Fat Freddy's Drop, Men from the Nile, Trueby Trio, Jazzanova, Quantic to future classics from Dimitri from Paris, Moulinexx, Captain Planet, Thornato & more. The 3XLP is pressed with 2-3 songs per side with 13 in total & the digital contains the full 20 song compilation playlist. Turntables On The Hudson 20 Mix By Nickodemus

One of my favorite festivals in the World is the Radio Meuh Circus Festival nestled in the small ski village of Clusaz in the French Alps. It was quite an honor & excitement to play an entire night start to finish to kick off the 2019 festival with my partner in Turntables on the Hudson sound system, Nappy G on percussion. Although his drum head broke in the middle of the night, he managed to make magic & keep the rhythms flowing till the end freestyle with me on the CDJ's making beats, him rocking the broken congas & a beautiful charged up crowd keeping the energy very high! We get down anywhere anytime full of passion & heart & if you can imagine this very packed crowd sweating all up on top of each other, dancing, smiling, grinding, drinking... you get the idea of a Radio Meuh, Turntables on the Hudson, Alps, Nile, Ramblas, Danube, Ipanema, Caribbean vibes! Epic Vinyls from Brazil are Rasmus and Dona Carla from Copenhagen and Rio de Janeiro.

If you don't know them yet, their DJ Set are made up of exceptional, rare Brazilian music that you have probably never heard before (except for the specialists that you may be).
They have been digging for one year to make another mix on Le Mellotron dedicated the Brazilian goddess of the sea: Iemanjá.
From a pool of 30 themed records, they selected 16 highly danceable MPB (popular Brazilian music) rarities made to celebrate life and good music.
Iemanjá is celebrated on February 2nd all over Brazil and connected to blue and white colors, rivers and oceans, white flowers, love and cleansing.

This name of this mix is ABOM-5. The 5th mixtape in their Afro Brazil Orixa Mix series - which traces the influence of african rhytms and spirituality in Brazilian music. Major MPB artists from Rio like Wando and Elza Soares are mixed with tracks from Bahia, Belem and São Paulo.
