Quantize Recordings is proud to present an amazing tune sung by the late Michael Procter entitled “I Got Love.” With a string of chart hits and soulful house favorites to his name, Michael Procter is one of dance music’s most legendary singers. From internationally acclaimed songs like “Love Don’t Live” to silky smooth and soulful numbers like “Deliver Me”, his abilities as an entertainer still stand second to none.

This release contains remixes that continue to strengthen Procter’s legacy. The Lenny Fontana & True House Stories Remix is infused with soulful house grooves combined with Michael’s beautifully delivered vocals. We have also added versions by none other than London’s Booker T and DJ Spen whose Funky Disco Mixes are fiercely unforgettable. These mixes beautifully blend Procter’s powerful vocals over tracks that bump with a unique Brixton and Baltimore style.
Lastly, we’ve included killer remixes by Tonay Carrasco making “I Got Love” a
release of the highest standard that is not to be missed.

Engulfed with a passion for music from the age of 13, the Baltimore-based DJ and producer has been on an expediential ride to becoming a staple of the electronic scene. Beginning his career hosting hip-hop radio shows, DJ Spen joined famed production collective Basement Boys in the early 90s, where he became known for his unique all-encompassing style of mixing. Later spearheading the creation of several labels, including the highly acclaimed Code Red Recordings, DJ Spen has continued to entice dance floors the world over with an unparalleled combination of funk, R&B and gospel-laced house music.

Michael Cobaria aka Micfreak is a producer, dj and artist from Baltimore. A multi-instrumentalist, Micfreak brings his love of piano, guitar and drums into his productions, playing everything himself to create his own unique sound. He likes to fuse squelching and melodic synth lines, drippy arpeggios, throbbing and funky basslines and supersized beats. Micfreak's music has been released on labels such as Angelo Ferreri’s Mono Side, JPaul Getto’s Fogbank and DJ Spen’s Quantize & Unquantize imprints, Deeplife Records, among others, regularly charting on both Beatport and Traxsource. DJ Spen took notice of this emerging talent and took him under his wing, releasing his debut album ‘Feelin’ It’ to great acclaim, along with singles such as ‘Extra Sauce’, ‘Hot Hot Hot House’ on Unquantize Recordings and most his current drumtastic remix of Barbara Tucker’s ’Think (About It)’ on Quantize Recordings.

Acclaimed house music veteran Eddie Amador has been contributing to the dance scene since 1998 when his classic anthem ’House Music' exploded on the scene. He’s since upheld a fruitful career releasing dance floor hits on labels such as Yoshitoshi, Defected, Pacha, Suara, Yellow, Subliminal, Spinnin, Stealth, Nervous NYC, Deeplife Records and Toolroom, among many.

Baltimore's Thommy Davis is one of the longtime heroes of house music with an extensive career dating back some 40 years. He's one of the heads behind the incredible Quantize Recordings and Unquantize labels, along with DJ Spen and label co-owner Kelly Spencer. Thommy is also been part of the Basement Boys  collaborating with Teddy Douglas and Jay Steinhour since the late 80’s.

DJ Rae is one fiercely talented and dynamic artist. The Singer, Songwriter, DJ and Producer’s skills have been growing organically since she exploded onto the house scene with 'Can't Stop’ alongside Sandy Rivera (KOT) on Defected records in 2008. Since then, Rae has gone on to work with some of the biggest names on the scene from ATFC, DJ SKT, David Penn, Doorly, Danism + Train, Just Us & Eddy, Monki, The Deepshakerz, Gene Farris, and many more, as well as releasing her own solo productions to great acclaim. With a strong release schedule closing out 2020 with tracks forthcoming on Quantize Recordings, Club Sweat and Let There Be House, Rae is also working on her highly anticipated debut artist album. With global tour dates, DJ Rae has headlined festivals and key dance events, and also toured with the hugely successful Hacienda Classical, performing on iconic stages such as Pyramid stage at Glastonbury and Royal Albert Hall, London, all whilst continuing to build her fan base on home turf with a weekly radio show on London's House FM.'
