Talking Body released his debut on the brilliant ‘Chill Your Mind’ imprint in 2020 and has impressively gone on to do 1.2 Million streams at Spotify and has gone on to gain supporters such as Sophie Francis, Michael Calfan, Sam Feldt, The Him, and MusicbyLUKAS.  Collectively, the boys produce emotional uplifting house with a nod to the dancefloor and the heart, ‘Feel So Good’ is a brilliant ‘feel good’ nostalgic banger destined for big things!

This edition is a tale of two halves, coming out of the starting blocks with deep & rolling house laced with elements of jazz and soul. This sound is ever growing on us and you will find much more of this moving forward. Featured is a double header from Brooklyn Baby on GLBDOM, Dutch deep house talent Retromigration, Crackazat remixes Alma Negra on Heist, powerful vocal deep house on Freerange and some jazzy vocal fusion from Felipe Gordon & Cody Currie on Shall Not Fade!

The second half steps up the pace to bring you a more fundamental bumpy & 4/4 vibe with a brand new release from Saison and tracks from Tom Jay, Intr0beatz, Hurlee, Carlo, Laurence Guy & a gospel piano stomper from Floorplan to close! Labels featured include Classic Music Company, ESUOH, Peking House, Moment Cinetique & Aterral.

We have also took the opportunity to spin a disco infused house stomper from Jackmaster & Jasper James which is a free download made in a hotel room in Ibiza a few years back! I was introduced to this track by Mighty Mouse and Lord was I happy when I found it!

Mavalo on That Disco Groove Radio Show 009

This week we've lined up another hour of deep and dusty jazz-laden, disco infused grooves and bumpy four-four house flavours for you.

There's a steady blend of beats from the last 5 years and some more recent releases from the likes of Tilman, Lotche and Ed Nine.

We've got some lovely jazzy numbers in the form of A Little Jazz from Vibrate which has some great spoken word and Farhad who brings his recent release, Some Notes, which features a pumping lead bass line and some superb Rhodes synth action.

4/4 sounds are present from underground Dutch maestro, Retromigration and masters of the sound, Tom Jay and Yann Polewka. And alongside all of that we've even got some tracks from Nu-Disco heavyweight labels Groove Culture and Tropical Disco.

Special mention to Maxmoody who delivers the closer with the compelling You Know How It Goes, out earlier this year from our friends over at Fresh Take Records. Don't miss that one!
