ARTIST OF THE WEEK: DAVID GARCET

It took little to no time for Belgian-born talented DJ and eclectic electronic music producer to stand out through the originality of his creations. An ambitious and determined individual whose skill and artistic direction has also leaned into creating a music agency and label based in Bangkok, Thailand.

 Successfully blending melodious and decadent music, every one of David Garcet's tracks plunges its listeners in his very personal, sexy and emotionally charged universe. A modern artist with regular releases, he is a key music producer and DJ in the electronic music scene, whose attention-grabbing music holds great surprises for music enthusiasts worldwide. Over the years he has productively released a number of noteworthy tracks and remixes of tracks by the likes of Haze-M Thodoris Triantafillou, Batsi Grub, Garance, Ron Flatter, Sid le rock, Juan Deminicis, Kolombo and many more. He has had several fruitful mentions on Niconé’s renowned label Dantze, as well as numerous remarkable releases on the prominent Progressive House label Manual Music. Not to mention a significant track record in other music labels including Tulipa recordings, Emerald & Doreen and of course Jane Music Agency, the latter being a fruit from his own labour.

Matt Timms has been mixing since the early 90s everywhere from Pirate Radio & later becoming a key resident in the north east of England with Apparition collective regularly delivering fresh new sounds to the seaside town of Cleethorpes & beyond. Matt draws influences from nearly every genre of electronic music and beyond initially getting into everything listening to acid house in the late 80s and being exposed to many genres through pirate radio. Over the last year he's also started heavily focusing on production creating a variety of grooving and minimal tunes.
