Psychedelic Techno has emerged From The Swamp! 

We've been eagerly awaiting for this one. Introducing and expanding the record labels catalog of sound, our latest VA series 'From The Swamp' aims to deliver a heavier influenced Techno sound which incorporates big atmospheres with psychedelic undertones, backed by the raw power of heaving basslines in what will be, Universal Tribes own take to this exciting genre.  

This project is in collaboration with Semilocybe who's helped to compile and scout out a number of talented artists who've each crafted their own unique track. 

Gear up, chapter two is already in the making so if you're writing similar sounds then we'd love to hear them.

Pierre-Yves Novel , is a music enthusiast from Mauritius island . 
He has always been passionate about music since the young age of 6 , spending weekends listening to CD's of The beatles , The who , The shadows and much more sensational bands of the old years . In his early teenage years , he fell in love with rock and metal music , and all the subgenres . While growing , he explored many more areas of the musical universe such as blues , psychedelic rock , and jazz . Learned how to play guitar for his first love and started trying everything that came through his hands . 

In 2014 , He discovered the dancefloor type of psychedelic music and his mind was blown . Slowly encountering the different genres on the dancefloors , in 2017 he decided to try out sound design. Trying out new stuffs and learning from friends , brought him into DJ'ing.

Today , He has come up with 2 different projects to swirl into 2 different atmosphere and bpms. And has shared stage with artists like Ecoteric ,Brojanowski and Tairam. 

Quaré ? - (Which means WHY ? in Latin) is the Hi-Bpm project starting over 150bpm and focuses on very gloomy, dark and almost horrific sounds .
Whitney U-Stoned - (Yes , this is a pun) is the Low-Bpm project that focuses on dubs , wobbles , and reverberated atmospheric sound to soothe the listeners .
