Geboren und aufgewachsen in den Potsdamer Vororten, entwickelte Rodmin mitte der 2000er Jahre seine Vorliebe für elektronische Musik. Schon bald fand er bei Spartacus Potsdam einem Club der ihn sowohl musikalisch als auch sozial mitgestaltete für seine musikalischen Heldentaten.
Nachdem er zahlreiche Veranstaltungen ausrichtete zog es ihn in die geschäftige Metropole des benachbarten Berlin. Hier konnte er schnell in der Musikszene bei ://about blank Fuß fassen. 
2014 entwickelte sich die Zusammenarbeit zu einer Residenz. Rodmins Sets sind für ihre Vielfalt bekannt, tiefgreifende Athmospärische Ausflüge die tiefe Ebenen von Emotionen erforschen. Wenn es aber eine Sache gibt, die sie vor allem erreichen, dann ist es, dass sie euch bewegen werden. Einfach ausgedrückt: Techno mit Groove

Born and raised in the suburbs of Potsdam, Rodmin first developed his penchant for electronic music in the middle of the 2000s. He soon found a home and outlet for his musical exploits at Spartacus Potsdam, a club which helped shape him both musically as well as socially. Having organised numerous events and sampling all of the delights suburbia had to offer, he was drawn to the bustling metropole of neighbouring Berlin. Here he quickly attained a foothold in the music scene at ://about blank; a move which blossomed into a residency in 2014. Rodmin's sets are known for their diversity, they are profound improvisational odysseys which explore deep planes of emotions. Though if there is one thing they achieve above all else, it is that they will make you move. Simply put: Techno with groove.

DJ MARIA. ( MOMENT | Transcendence)
has something special to offer and in her sets you can expect lovingly crafted journeys designed to invoke the meditative state felt during audio/sensory experiences, taking you on a psychedelic and sometimes experimental techno adventure playing a unique blend of Techno rhythms laced with Psychedelic elements aiming to create the euphoria felt during Psychedelic Trance whilst playing in a Techno landscape. 
In my most recent experience, her headlining act at “Moment” , sent the crowd into a state of euphoria and created a fantasy like atmosphere.
Most of her sets are recorded and posted on her Soundcloud for everyone to enjoy.
She isn’t bound by genre and has experience with house, ambient, trance and downtempo music.
With great energy control on stage she creates a euphoric atmosphere wherever she plays.
 She is also a party organizer and hosted the techno party ‘’RELATIVE’’ in Shibuya from 2017 to 2019. She currently hosts the psychedelic-focused party ‘’Transcendance’’. In recent years, she has also released the EPs ‘’Acid sunrise’’ and ‘’Communicating with the Universe”. She also contributes to the scene by providing mixes for Mixmag, On The 5th Day podcast, as well as producing her own sounds.

Medha spielte zum letzten quartal. Showcase ein unglaubliches closing im Sektor Evolution.
Nach diesem Set mussten wir unbedingt ihren Sound in unsere Podcast-Serie aufnehmen. Jetzt freuen wir uns, Medha neben anderen großartigen Künstlern auf unserer Plattform zu sehen.
Wir hoffen, dass euch dieses Set genauso viel Freude bereitet wie uns.

Hier noch ein paar Informationen zu ihrer Person


Medha ist eine in Leipzig lebende Dj und organisiert selbst Veranstaltungen als Mitglied des PVC 
Kollektivs. Zudem ist sie seit 2021 Co-host der bekannten Eventreihe Aequalis im Ifz. Ihre Leidenschaft für 
technoide Musik ist geprägt von ihrer ständigen Suche nach Inspiration und neuen Tracks, die sie mit 
einer Mischung aus Intuition und Überlegung in ihren Mixen zusammenführt. Geprägt von der Berliner und 
Leipziger Kultur- und Clubszene hat sie ihre eigene Art entwickelt, ihre Leidenschaft auszudrücken. Ihr 
Sound ist geprägt von prägnanten Basslines und raueren Elementen einerseits, aber auch von tiefen und 
treibenden Rhythmen und repetitiven Sounds. In letzter Zeit hat sie unter anderem in Clubs wie im Tresor 
Berlin, Ifz Leipzig oder Siroccoclub in Madrid gespielt.

Here's a little bit more about her.


Medha is a Leipzig based Dj and promoter as a member of the PVC collective. Since the end of 2021 
she is the co-host of the well-known event series aequalis at Ifz. Her passion for technoid music is 
shaped by her constant search for inspiration and new tracks, which she brings together in her mixes with 
a mixture of intuition and thought. Influenced by the Berlin and Leipzig culture and club scene, she has 
developed her own way of expressing her passion. Her sound is characterised by concise basslines and 
rougher elements on the one hand, but also by deep and driving rhythms and repetitive sounds. 
Recently, she has played in clubs such as Tresor Berlin, Ifz Leipzig or Sirococlub Madrid.

Wie ihr Name vermuten lässt ist sie Glasbläserin. 
An einem bestimmten Punkt in ihrem Leben wurde ihr jedoch klar, dass das Handwerk allein nicht ausreicht, um die Vielfalt ihrer Gefühle und Gedanken auszudrücken, die sie teilen möchte.
In ihrem Alltag jongliert sie mit mehreren Rollen – als Theaterproduzentin, Yogalehrerin, Glasbläserin und DJ. 
Um eine gewisse Balance und ihr eigenes spezielles Universum zu finden, spielt sie hypnotischen, dub- und sanften, dunklen Techno.
Das Erstellen von Sets vergleicht sie mit dem Basteln einer Schachtel mit Verschlüssen und besonderen Erinnerungen, und hofft dass wir diese Reise genießen.

As her name suggests, she is a glassmaker. 
However, at a certain point in her life, she realized that craft alone is not enough to express the diversity of her feelings and thoughts that she wants to share.
In her everyday life, she juggles several roles – as a theatre producer, yoga teacher, glassmaker and DJ. 
In order to find a certain balance and her own special universe, she plays hypnotic, dub and gentle, dark techno.
She compares creating sets to making a box of closures and special memories, and hope that we enjoy this journey.

Bereits in ihrer Jugend begann sie, sich durch Kunst und Musik von konservativen Strukturen zu lösen. Ihr Ziel war es, rebellische Kreativität auszuleben und Räume für interkulturellen Austausch zu schaffen.

Für Emmi ist die Musiklandschaft nicht nur ein sicherer Ort, um ihre Gefühle auszudrücken, sondern auch ein sozialer Raum, der Party, Subkultur und Künstler miteinander verbindet.

Seit sie 2019 begann, Musik zu produzieren und sich mit Synthesizern zu beschäftigen, hat dies ihr Leben mit Freude und neuen Perspektiven bereichert.

From a young age, she began to break free from conservative structures through art and music. Her goal was to embrace rebellious creativity and create spaces for intercultural exchange.

For Emmi, the music scene is not only a safe space to express her emotions but also a social environment that connects parties, subcultures, and artists.

Since she started producing music and exploring the world of synthesizers in 2019, it has brought her joy and opened up new perspectives in her life.

Sein Sound war schon immer eher deep und hat sich über die Jahre hin zu hypnotischem Techno entwickelt. Dies führte 2022 zur Entstehung seines Alias "Balanca".
Kurz darauf kreuzten sich seine Wege mit dem Kollektiv hinter quartal., sie waren der Überzeugung daß er fester Bestandteil dieses musikalischen Kreises sein sollte.
Nun können wir ihn herzlich willkommen heißen in unserer kleinen Familie.

"Balanca" is a Berlin-based DJ, producer, and co-founder of The Voice Inside. Inspired by the loop-techno of the 2000s, he began his musical journey with vinyl before transitioning to CDs and eventually embracing digital DJing as technology evolved.

His sound always rather deep and has developed over the years into hypnotic techno. This evolution led to the creation of his alias "Balanca" in 2022.

Shortly thereafter, his path crossed with the collective behind quartal., who strongly believed that he should be an integral part of this musical circle.

steht für einen Sound zwischen Tiefe, Melancholie und cineastischer Atmosphäre. Hypnotische Pads, schwere Kicks, Breaks und beatlose Momente prägen den Stil kombiniert mit Einflüssen aus Dub, Noise und experimenteller Elektronik.

Inspiration zieht Funes aus dem Leben selbst, mit all seinen Höhen und Tiefen. Musik ist Ausdruck innerer Prozesse so etwa beim Debütalbum Agonia (2021), das als Selbstveröffentlichung auf Bandcamp erschien und den Verlust des Vaters verarbeitet.

DJ-Sets von Funes sind mehr als Tanzflächenbeschallung: Sie laden ein zur Reise, zum Innehalten, zum Eintauchen. Ob im Club oder zu Hause es geht um Räume, in denen Bedeutung, Spiritualität und Emotion entstehen können.

Seit fast zehn Jahren folgt Funes einem fein geschulten, intuitiven Musikgespür. Die Trackauswahl folgt keinem Schema, sondern einem inneren Filter, der sich ständig weiterentwickelt. Stands for a sound that lies between depth, melancholy, and cinematic atmosphere. Hypnotic pads, heavy kicks, breaks, and beatless moments shape the style, combined with influences from dub, noise, and experimental electronics.

Funes draws inspiration from life itself, with all its highs and lows. Music is an expression of inner processes as in the debut album Agonia (2021), a self-release on Bandcamp that processes the loss of a father.

Funes’ DJ sets are more than just soundtracks for the dancefloor: they invite listeners on a journey to pause, to immerse. Whether in the club or at home, it's about creating spaces where meaning, spirituality, and emotion can arise.

For almost ten years, Funes has followed a finely tuned, intuitive sense of music. The track selection follows no fixed pattern but rather an internal filter that constantly evolves. Podcasts and sets reflect personal phases and current influences always with the aim of creating new sonic worlds through the music of other artists.

Als Gründerin des Focus: Podcast und Mitglied des Nebula-Kollektivs prägt sie eine ästhetische Handschrift, die zwischen trippiger Tiefe, dunkler Energie und minimal-grooviger Leichtigkeit oszilliert. V:SONNTAG !

A Leipzig-based DJ, V:SONNTAG has long made a name for herself beyond the borders of her hometown with her hypnotic and focused sound. While deeply connected to the local scene surrounding the now-closed but legendary Institut für Zukunft and Neue Welle, she has also performed at renowned venues such as ://about:blank, Tresor, and Berghain.

As the founder of the Focus: Podcast and a member of the Nebula collective, she shapes an aesthetic signature that oscillates between trippy depth, dark energy, and minimal, groovy lightness. Her ambition is to create sets with a clear dramaturgy that take the audience on a journey – with a red thread running from the very first to the very last sound.

Her legendary Tresor closing gained particular attention, where despite nervousness and feeling unwell, she shaped the night until well into the following day. The intensity of this experience and her close connection to those around her highlight how much V:SONNTAG understands music not only as performance, but as a collective experience.

Her “secret weapon” is meticulous preparation: every set is carefully thought out to deliberately shape the flow and gradually build up the energy in the room. In doing so, she loves to combine dark, hypnotic sounds with melodic elements that create surprising twists along the way.

Szentendre!

Anfang der 2000er begann er, Techno für sich zu entdecken.
Es folgten die ersten kleinen Gigs, unter anderem in Stroga für das damalige Reglerwerk.
Kurz darauf entstand sogar ein eigener, illegaler Club.
Das „Overnite“ in der ehemaligen Maschinenfabrik Heidenau.

Zwischen 2010 und etwa 2012 arbeitete er in Kooperation mit Aminosound und spielte in verschiedenen Clubs in und um Dresden.
Einige Zeit später gründete sich die Crew Schall & Rausch, mit der zahlreiche Partys im Sektor Evolution und im Sabotage stattfanden. Doch auch hier entwickelten sich die Wege unterschiedlich weiter, sodass er letztlich von 2013 bis 2017 bei Syndikat//Unikat landete.
Einer Crew, die sich mit einer erfolgreichen Veranstaltungsreihe fest in der Dresdner Szene etablieren konnte.

Als sich die Crew 2018 aufgrund geografischer Veränderungen auflöste, wurde es still um ihn. 
Die Wege trennten sich, die Projekte verliefen sich, doch nicht seine musikalische Strahlkraft.

Unsere Begeisterung für seine klanglichen Reisen ist nie verschwunden. Umso größer war die Freude, ihn nach so vielen Jahren ganz unerwartet auf einem Festival wiederzutreffen.

Noch immer ein Mann des guten Geschmacks und der wohltuenden medialen Zurückhaltung.
Ein Künstler, der keine großen Bühnen braucht, um Eindruck zu hinterlassen.

Und einmal mehr zeigt sich:
Die wahren Perlen findet man im Underground.

Für uns ist dieses Set eine echte Erfrischung, da es unseren typischen Sound bewusst aufbricht.
Wir sind selbst von verschiedenen Genres inspiriert und geprägt, und genau diese Einflüsse spiegeln sich darin wider. Mit diesem Set möchten wir daher auch ein Stück unserer musikalischen Roots mit euch teilen.

This was followed by his first small gigs, including appearances at Stroga for the former Reglerwerk crew. Shortly after, he even helped establish his own illegal club: Overnite, located in the former Heidenau machine factory.

Between 2010 and around 2012, he collaborated with Aminosound and played in various clubs in and around Dresden. Some time later, the Schall & Rausch crew was founded, hosting numerous parties at Sektor Evolution and Sabotage. Over time, however, paths began to diverge, and from 2013 to 2017 he became part of Syndikat//Unikat — a crew that firmly established itself within the Dresden scene through a successful event series.

When the crew dissolved in 2018 due to geographical changes, things became quieter around him. Paths separated, projects faded, but his musical radiance never did.
Our enthusiasm for his musical journeys never disappeared. All the greater was the joy of unexpectedly meeting him again after so many years at a festival.
Still a man of refined taste and pleasantly restrained media presence.
An artist who doesn’t need big stages to leave a lasting impression.

And once again, it becomes clear:
the true gems are found in the underground.

For us, this set is a genuine refreshment, as it consciously breaks away from our typical sound. We ourselves are inspired and shaped by various genres, and these influences are clearly reflected here. With this set, we want to share a piece of our musical roots with you.

dearest crowd! sometimes we have to back our corners, edges and moments, we are not satisfied with. moments full of excitement and insecurity. Moments which makes you standing in front of you and blocking yourself. I think some of you know, what I'm talking about. It is not just a dj-thing, its more a thing about life and many situations we have to fight with our inner monsters. Sometimes you win and sometimes not. Situations like that we have to take as a chance to learn how to fight with these little creatures and to find ways to go, where they can't find you. During playing this set at STAUB in my beloved about blank garden I had to fight a lot and you can hear that. I was dreaming for years to have this opportunity. I could not meet my expectations for this set but anyway I want to share that time with you because it was great and I am still overwhelmed by your love and support! Thanks again to all the dancers and my supporters! You are great!

Benjamin erzählte das er sich an den Tag der Entstehung des Bildes noch gut erinnern kann. 
In klirrender Kälte liefen sie zu dritt über das Gelände auf der Suche nach dem richtigen Blickwinkel, der richtigen Einstellung und versteckten Details.  
Kurz nach einer Pyroaction drückte Benjamin den Auslöser. 
Der Effekt der durch den Nebel und die kleinen runden Lüftungsöffnungen entstand fand er genial. 
Wir können dem nur zustimmen und finden das Bild unterstreicht den musikalischen Ausflug von THNTS.

Benjamin told us that he remembers the day the picture was taken. 
At sweltering cold, three of them went across the terrain in search of the right angle, the right setting and hidden details.  
Shortly after a pyroaction, Benjamin pressed the trigger. 
He found the effect of the fog and the small round ventilation openings ingenious.

Ein vielseitiges Kunst- und Musikprojekt mit Sitz in München.
Um Rhythmus, Komposition und Experimentalismus in die digitale Musiksprache zu übersetzen bedient sie sich ihrer Jahre langen Erfahrungen sowie Übung beim Umgang mit verschiedensten Musikinstrumenten. 
In ihren Produktionen sowie Sets verschmelzen organische Sounds mit komplexen elektronischen Klängen. 
Zusammen mit Dycide und MTRL gründete sie das Label IO.
Dort bieten sie einen exzellenten Katalog mit  EP's und Sets von hochwertigen Künstlern an, die sich im Ambient hypnotischen gefielden zuhause fühlen.

Mit diesem Set schickt Polygonia uns die richtige Portion positive Energie und bringt die richtigen vibes für die kommenden Monate.

Polygonia
is a versatile art and Music project based in Munich, Germany.
Her preceding intensive and long practice playing several instruments as well as the experiences with other art forms, inspired the
artist to translate her understanding of rhythm, composition and experimentalism into the digital Musical language.
She creates mystic, deep and experimental soundscapes with acoustic elements in it.
Together with Dycide and MTRL she founded the Ambient and Deep Techno Label IO.

With this set she send us positive Energy and brings the right vibes for the next Months.

Adelia!

she is a passionate artist from Prague and started Djíng 2015.
At the beginning of her experience she orientated herself to dark techno, 
over the years she discovered hypnotic and deep techno. 
With many experiences at her own events and invitations at the Cross Club Prague she played gigs in Slovakia and Hungary.
In this quartal she offer a greatful set to our channel and let let us drifting into her world of Art.

Ursprünglich aus Metalcore und Hardcore stammend, wuchs die elektronische und experimentelle Musik im laufe der Zeit in ihn hinein.
Seine Einflüsse stammen aus der Technoszene in Leipzig und konzentrieren sich auf impulsive Rhythmen,
dissoziative Klänge und dunkle und unheimliche Atmosphären. 
Als Gründungsmitglied von PVC ist er auch Mitorganisator.
Schwärmt in Clubs und Wäldern rund um Leipzig und arbeitet sich in die lokale Szene ein.

Licht und Schatten, Formen und Abstraktion, der Raum dazwischen und die Harmonie der Farben. 
Kims Arbeit wird durch eine persönliche Vision durch verschiedene Aspekte bestimmt, die ihre eigene Realität bilden.
Mit ihrem Hintergrund und ihrer Sprache als Architektin sowie ihrer Leidenschaft für visuellen Ausdruck ist sie Kuratorin für Grafik-, Design- und Illustrationsprojekte in den MIORO Studios in Berlin.
MIORO ist eine Plattform, die auf natürliche Weise aus der Liebe zwischen Freunden und ihren eigenen kreativen Aktivitäten entstanden ist, mit der Absicht, Kunst, Schöpfer und Gemeinschaftsgeist zu verfolgen und anzunehmen.
Mit MIORO entwirft sie regelmäßig Cover für Podcasts, die auf .apart veröffentlicht werden. Sie hat auch den aktuellen Artcircle von IO Records erstellt.

Originally from a metalcore and hardcore background, the electronic and experimental music grew into him
over time. His influences come from the techno scene in Leipzig, Germany, focusing on impulsive rhythms,
dissociative sounds and dark and eerie atmospheres. As a founding member of PVC he is also co-organising
raves in clubs and woods around the Leipzig area and working his way into the local scene.

Light and shadow, forms and abstraction, the space in between and the harmony of colors. Kim's work is determined by a personal vision through several aspects that form her own reality.
With her background and language as an architect, as well as a passion for visual expression, she is a curator of graphic, design and illustration projects at MIORO Studios in Berlin.
MIORO is a platform naturally born out of the love between friends and her own creative activities, with the intention of pursuing and embracing art, creators and community spirit.
With MIORO she regularly designs covers for podcasts released on .apart. She also created the current Artcircle of IO Records.

Frohes neues Jahr

2021 beginnen wir mit dem in Belgien lebenden Künstler Mike Deem.
Als Inhaber von Aarden Records ist er ein einflussreicher Teil der Hypnotic Techno Scene.
Mit seinen Gefühl für atmosphärische und dunkle Soundstrukturen, melancholische Acid melodien und Basslines baut er einen Spannungsbogen die durch hypnotischen Techno führen.
Er ist immer auf der Suche nach Erneuerung und nutzt gerne neue talentierte Produzenten, um seine Sets zu färben.
Mit seinem aktuellen Hybrid-Setup, das Traktor, einen Mixer, einige Hardware-Elemente und Live-Intermezzos mit seinem Tr-8 enthält, verschwimmt die Grenze zwischen Kunst und purer Unterhaltung.
Seine Mixing-Sessions geben dem Hörer ein psychedelisches Gefühl von Ekstase und Zufriedenheit.

Zytomorphologie der gutartigen Brustwarzensekretion.

Die in Tiflis lebende Ärztin Sophie Sharashidze entwickelt seit einigen Jahren ihre Fähigkeiten in der Zellfotografie unter dem Mikroskop.
Ursprünglich eine Zytologein, vermischte Sophie ihre fotografischen Fähigkeiten mit ihrer zehnjährigen medizinischen Erfahrung und führte zu einer perfekten Verbindung ihrer beiden Leidenschaften. 
Ihre Arbeit ermöglicht es ihr, ständig neue Zellen und Bildgestaltungstechniken zu erforschen und lädt den Betrachter ein, die innere Welt des Menschen auf vielfältige Weise zu sehen. 
Ihre Fotografien wurden erfolgreich auf verschiedenen Ausstellungen in Georgien vertreten, darunter drei Einzelausstellungen.

Happy New Year

In 2021 we will start with the Belgian-based artist Mike Deem! 
As the owner of Aarden Records, he is an influential part of the Hypnotic Techno scene.
With his sense of atmospheric and dark sound structures, melancholic acid melodies and basslines, he builds a tension arc that leads through hypnotic techno.
He is always looking for renewal and likes to use new talented producers to color his sets.
With its current hybrid setup, which includes a tractor, a mixer, some hardware elements and live interludes with its Tr-8, the line between art and pure entertainment is blurred.
His mixing sessions give the listener a psychedelic feeling of ecstasy and contentment.

has been honing her skills in cell photography under a microscope for the past several years. 
Originally a cytologist, Sophie blended her photography skills with her ten years of medical experience, 
bringing about a perfect marriage of her two passions.
Her work allows her to constantly explore new cells and image-making techniques, 
inviting the viewer to see human’s inner world in diverse ways. 
Her photographs were successfully represented at different exhibitions in Georgia,including three solo exhibitions.
