I'd like to present a new series within the QSMIX. The A&R series. A bunch of mixes done by some clever A&R masters who I deeply admire. For the second instalment I've invited over @Tooli!

The man behind the legendary @omena-records label (since 2014) featuring exciting artists like HNNY, Seb Wildblood and also Quartet Series affiliate Saine. Besides that he co-runs @localtalk alongside Mad Mats since 2011, one of the bigger underground House Music labels around. For this mix he used mainly up and coming material from his self and his labels. Enjoy this lovely mix! Cheers, Nachtbraker

1. Fist track you signed?

Most likely ”First Time House” by Timothée Victorri aka Fulbert. 
This was early 2011 and we started Local Talk quite recently so I was checking out stuff on this thing called Soundcloud to find some music. Can’t remember how but somehow I came across this profile by a producer called ”Fulbert”. 
  
Bonus info - there was three tracks planned for the release but in the end we decided not to include it.. I think I still have it around somewhere. Maybe one day 😉 

2. Biggest accomplishment with the labels you run?

Probably the grammy for HNNY’s album ”Sunday”.. but also getting to know all these amazing people making all the music, mastering engineers, people making graphics, DJs that play our music and of course the ones that buys the releases. Some are close friends now, that is something I value a lot.  


3. Favourite track you signed at the moment?

One? There’s a few. NY*AK ”See More” out in very soon on Local Talk is dope. There’s soon a Soulphiction 12” on Local Talk and the track ”Cart People” is amazing. Casino Times got a new EP coming soon on Omena with a track called ”Voices”, it’s a real Chicago meets Detroit vibe that I love. 2018 is going to be very special, so many great releases coming 🙂
