Après deux années à jouer entre Lille et le Chili, Tatie Disco se met à produire et devient Tatie Dee. Garage, deep house, house, disco, funk, la DJ lilloise mélange les styles et compose des sets au groove raffiné. Influencée par les rythmes house d'artistes comme Marina Trench et Cinthie et par les mélodies acid de Mézigue, elle fait de l’acid house le coeur de ses productions. Son track Kalaola sera prochainement disponible sur la compilation de DJs for Climate Action. Mêlant son engagement féministe et sa passion pour la musique, elle décide créer, aux côtés de Léo Von Zbeul et Minence, le collectif lillois Tout Feu Tout Femmes. À travers une émission sur Comala Radio, son collectif milite pour une meilleure visibilité des musiciennes.

Black Pomelo Music Show - Episode 003 - Mixed by Tatie Dee

After the House and Techno Breaks provided by Hector Ram in the second release of the label (SA002), The Ram Fam are now given the task of bringing together artists with a long history in the classic House scene, as well as very active and constantly growing names within the underground, resulting in a 4-track ‘VA’ full of Deep House that promises a fidelity to the roots of the sound of this genre. 

From electro bass lines and deep soulful atmospheres to harmonic piano keys, the work and passion of the artists Boo Williams, Kai Alcé, Owen Jay, Melchior Sultana and Hector Ram fit together in a perfect sense of mutual influences for the SA003.

Boo William's 'Transformation' is a smooth and chord-laced house roller that has a more reflective vibe than his usual party-starting offerings. Atlanta don Kai Alce's 'Love Exists' is a heartfelt house romance then the long-time partnership of Owen Jay & Melchior Sultana douse us in star-gazing chords on 'Soul Expression' that leave you feeling refreshed. Hector Ram's 'Morning Sun Vibes' then uplifts with beautifully gentle piano chords.

Moskalus was born and currently resides in Ostrava, Czech Republic. He started his musical journey back in 2007 when he created his first YouTube channel where he would upload music from various artists to help them promote their music. With his second channel, he started doing music videos because he wanted to be a part of the scene, not only as a regular uploader, but as someone who wanted to express his own feelings. In November 2014, he had his first big break by making the music video for Bambounou's track "Onto This" which was released on 50 Weapons. After that, he gained a greater audience that helped him to work with labels such as: Lobster Theremin, Shall Not Fade, Die Orakel, Pinkman and Lehult. He has also had the opportunity to work with artists such as: Baltra, Fjaak, J. Albert and Benedikt Frey.

After years of listening to music and making videos for such artists, Moskalus has developed a wide-ranging taste. In his DJ sets you can expect to hear anything from disco to house, techno, UK Garage or dubstep from the golden era.

Today we’re joined by Berlin-based dj & producer, Philip Budny. With a handful of beautiful EPs to his name on Coastal Haze, Lionoil Industries and Let’s Play House, Philip Budny specialises in lazy, sun-kissed house music. With summer on the horizon and sun-kissed music being exactly what we need, he’s helped us out with a mix of his favourite tunes.

While we had him here, we took to opportunity to have a chat with Philip about living in Berlin as a house music producer, how he goes about making his tracks and the importance of functionality in house music.

we had the pleasure of contributing to the Kwaitour event @ Ohm Berlin in May . Belgium raised berlin based dj Gratts also played the same event and his set was recorded .
DJ Gratts has spent the best part of two decades lugging bags of records around Europe, and latterly Asia and Australia with increasing frequency. First biting the bug for good-time house, techno and disco in the late 90s, he honed his craft as part of the We Play House gang throughout the following decade, and began pushing out of his homeland around the 10s. In keeping the heart of the music in mind, Gratts ensures the feet are always engaged. Genres aren’t important, though: no matter what’s spinning, it’s all about the uplift, the heart and the freedom. His deep knowledge of groove-heavy, dancefloor-ready music affords him versatility - he’s as comfortable playing alongside Steffi or DJ Sprinkles as Hunee or András Fox. As well as an able selector, he’s a keen curator-collaborator: he produces music under his own name, as Icarus Traxx and with Eluize as Ca$hminus; he plays records with San Soda as Het Collect-Ief Deruyter; and last but not least with fellow Belgian dj Kong, he runs the ensemble label from Brussels .
while many records played in this set are South-African, probably just as many aren't, but were influenced by (his personal vision) of the kwaito vibe and aesthetic. So apart from house music, bubblegum and kwaito, the mix also contains non SA produced tunes that got played on SA dancefloors, SA themed records (e.g. Massive Sounds / Bobby Konders' "Free South Africa") .
