Quartz Pistol follows her debut release with this emotive and timeless track ‘Scrolling Down’. Capturing that bedroom production sound with elements of folk and 70’s pop, Quartz experiments with vintage vocal production and analogue instruments to create a sound that is unique hers. Scrolling Down reflects on the emotionally consuming effect of social media, the race to elate and destroy, the wild west of online human behaviour.

How divine it is to think that all organisms on this planet are powered by light. We use light to in various methods to understand our universe. I wanted to harness the feeling of dark immensity in space contrasted with delicate intricacies of ecology on earth and how all the hectic, wild, gorgeous shit up there forms our existence as we know it.
