Sensu is one of Quartz Records’ most celebrated family members, so we’re excited to see what you all think of her latest single. Titled “Far Away” featuring Nadine Carina, the calming downtempo/ambient production is the lead single from Sensus upcoming EP, Lose Sight, which we look forward to sharing with you on February 20th.

Aside from being an all-female production (that includes Quartz Records’ only female signee), what sets “Far Away” apart from the future bass songs to which it is most similar is its halftime drum pattern, which likens it a little more to the chillstep genre. Sensu’s subdued sound design elegantly frames Nadine Carina’s meandering vocals in such a way that both elements fuse together to form a serene and hypnotizing piece of music.

Let It Slide

"Good Run" is about indifference, distancing yourself from your fragility and finding an identity through chasing materialistic possession. This feeling comes to life through an unbothered and laidback vocal delivery that glides effortlessly over a bumpy and edgy beat. It is the first track of my upcoming "Bad Vacation" EP, a series of five self-produced songs, released individually as singles, forming a chapter. In 2020, where vacations are scarce due to COVID, this is my escape from reality.
