DisX3 emerged from the depths of Berlin's underground techno scene in 1997, finding its genesis amidst the pulsating beats of the legendary club, "Tresor." With his action driven machine live set, he quickly carved a niche for itself with its raw, uncompromising sound.

As the inaugural project of Alexander Kowalski, DisX3 served as a platform for his innovative sonic explorations, pushing the boundaries of techno with each release. Kassian return to Faux Poly after 3 years, marking a new chapter for both the duo and the label they founded. In that time Faux Poly has carved out its own identity, supporting a tight roster of
forward-thinking artists, while continuing to draw a line back to the dancefloor roots it was built on.

Locked / Ghost Dub keeps things direct. Both tracks are born from hardware, staying true to Kassian’s process while leaving aside any overarching concept. Instead, this is their most direct statement yet; functional, raw, and made for DJs. Locked is a bass-driven breakbeat track with a distinctly UK flavour, atmospheric, spacious and designed for a real soundsystem. Ghost Dub shifts into faster warehouse territory; a breaks cut that nods to 90’s rave while keeping the focus on immediacy and impact.

Montana [Kassian Versions]

Christian Schulz aka Quarz Lega, born in August 1980 in a rather provincial area around Frankfurt/Oder,                        
is a German House/Techno DJ and producer.

 Starting with tape recordings from Radio Fritz ( Crazy Club & Rave Satellite ) he immediately felt in love with   House/Techno music. Supported from his closest friends and inspired by DJ Ian Pooley, Thomas Bangalter, Robbie Rivera, Johannes Heil, Jeff Mills and not only Adam Beyer he soon found his own way of living music. 

                            

Quarz Lega was a member of the partylabel “Soundcontrol99”. Next to Dj’s like Conrad Bassinger, 
Alex spezial K, Danny K, Netram and Funk Patzelt he threw the famous Soundcontrol-Nights in the Grotte, 
Kufa (later Mufa ) and the Winterhafen at Frankfurt/ Oder.

                 

After the label closing of Soundcontrol99 he had several Gigs on small parties and so his hobby became more and more his passion.

He spent 9 years of practicing with vinyl before he decided to turn with the time and gained new experience in digital software and producing. 

Today Quarz Lega lives in Zurich, Switzerland. He self-actualizes in his music, his feelings, his interpretations, his passion.
