After more than 150 concerts given in the homeland, Queen of Diamonds releases their new opus of six self-produced songs – ‘Concrete skies.’
Formed in 2008, the band is composed of Rachel the singer, Fafo the guitarist, Olive the bassist and Damien, the drummer. They draw on their strong live experience on stage - signing a contract in 2011 under the label Drop in music which laid down a new challenge to promote their first extended play (EP) ‘Mis(s)behavior’ on a French tour. 
Born on the Basque Coast, in the South West of France they picked up popularity from their hometown to Paris through Marseille whilst gathering an enthusiastic welcome from the audience as well as the critics. Interviews, radio broadcasts on RTL2, Virgin Radio and France Bleu have built up their reputation in the musical landscape.
In 2014, Queen of Diamonds carry on the adventure and fervently devote themselves to self-produced titles which have a stronger rock influence, melting incisive riffs and a deep rhythm to fearless vocals. In short, these four partners insufflate as much energy into their compositions as they spread it out on their stage performances. 
All in all, with a new fit of rage but still as melodic as before, Concrete skies is more than ever in the vein of Californian Rock.
With this new EP under their belt, QOD look forward to launching their international career and conquering foreign stages.
