Vocal phenom Dawanna Chandler is a passionate singer & songwriter, hailing from Newark, NJ who has been electrifying diverse audiences from NJ to DC / MD from the tender age of 6 to the present with her powerful and mesmerizing 4.5 octave range mezzo-soprano voice. Her mastery of R&B, House, Funk, Jazz, Rock and Inspirational genres is comparable to many of her great musical influences such as Phyllis Hyman, Rachelle Ferrell, Alyson Williams, Chaka Khan, Angela Winbush, Patti Labelle, Martha Wash & Loleatta Holloway, just to name a few. She has performed for many live audiences and as former lead vocalist for 2 bands. Currently, she’s excited to be working on fresh projects as the newest vocal powerhouse signed to Whatszzz Up Superstar!!! Entertainment and is a lead vocalist with the Skyline Show Band. Soul-stirring, emotional and captivating vocals & lyrics are what you can expect from this commanding and statuesque performer.
