We live in an age where so-called LGBT rights seem to be welcomed while the trans community is still struggling with the most basic rights, transness is a human rights issue. This week we are making room for engaging with and raising awareness of trans issues in order to promote substantial change. Trans people experience violence, discrimination, harassment and poverty at unbeatable rates, especially those who are part of other marginalized groups
Though transness is part of our lives, identities, and experiences all year round, this week is an opportunity to raise visibility to the trans community and causes while celebrating trans bodies and lives.

Queer cast is a cultural queer collective that constitutes a virtual and physical space for queer voices and figures. 
Queer Cast started during the covid pandemic in 2021, as an online radio show. Today, Queer Cast produces radio broadcasts, events, and parties that showcase queer / trans artists. 
We are a collective for Queers and by Queers.
