Freear assembled soundcloud.com/slamboree at the start of 2011 by rounding up a small army of his favourite musicians and performers and it quickly grew into it's own via some very warped synchronicities. It's now taken shape to be a 10-piece live band with a Smörgåsbord of circus performers, daredevils and entertainers. We take each show as it comes, assembling a different crew from our collective for each show and every gig is very different to the last.

Musically it fuses bass-driven beats with live orchestra, guitars, percussion, loops, visuals, brass, accordian, pyrotechnics and circus. The genres bounce around breakbeat, dubstep, drum &amp; bass, dub, techno and electro fused with balkan, folk, and 'gypsy' flavours... all original and all live.

Within the very first year together we were fortunate enough to perform our live shows at some amazing places such as Glastonbury Festival, Electric Picnic, Boomtown, Shambala, Beatherder, Kendal Calling and the River Thames in London.

Some peaches and plenty of french wine... These are good basics for a party jam. And that is what it's all about on the third EP of Kosta Kostov. 'French Wine' and 'Peaches And Oats', two tracks created at a spontaneous jam session in Kosta's studio in Cologne. The beats influenced by soca, dancehall, baile funk and and the simpleness of b-more's fat basslines. Freestyle fun spoken words and hooks... 

Special featured on 'Peaches and Oats' are the party animals Cologne Boom Chak Crew (C.B.C.C.) and they make it clear - no fun limits; everything is possible -... Another featured artist is the serbian mighty voice man - MC Killo Killo - who gives the ultimate touch on 'French Wine', making it a serious hymne of the french wine producers.

The EP contains some banging remixes. Marcelinho da Lua's (Vapa Records/Brasil) muted guitar turns 'French Wine' into psychodelic funky riddim, DJ Click (No Fridge/Paris) gives it a ravy new wave touch and DJ Lucio K (San Francisco) converts it into a irresistable electro baile funk. At last but not at least Cologne based Triplet Tricks brings 'Peaches And Oats' on the next glitchy Stepp level.

The two original tracks are also to be seen like videos. Kosta Kostov worked with the movie makers Der Englaender and Andre Fritz on them featuring all the singers, MCs and musicians participating at the production of the tracks.
