After the big success of our first EDIT SERIES with German chief DELFONIC, Nómada Records feels like doing a new edit series in order to keep paying a homage to the roots of HOUSE MUSIC. Nómada Records joins forces again with Marcus Lindner a.k.a DELFONIC to present DELFONIC EDITS Pt. II where genres such as Disco, Afro, Funk, and Boogie are the strong dish. As we know DELFONIC has created and managed plenty of labels and released music on well known labels such as Money $ex Records, Oye Records and Toy Tonics.


DELFONIC EDITS is a four track EP which opens with “Don’t Stop Dancing” a 70’s fresh dance track with a infectious pecussion, strong strings, warm synths and powerful vocals followed by “Into The Stars” a brazilian bombshell where boogie and funk match perfectly. Perfect track for chilin and start the night. The B-Side is a homage to afro funk and dance scene “Let The Music Take Control” a 70’s eclectic dance turned into an infectious deep mood dj that will make you dance all night long. and last but no least the release close with “Into The Galaxy” it’s an edit of one of the funkiest track ever made by rare disco rock band “WAR”.

The third EP of the french producer invites us into a universe of warm tones, faithful to his love for the House of the West Coast of America in the 70’s, with a funk, sensual and soul touch. Some energetic rhythms, some pianos played in delicacy : so we are swept up in the melancholic groove of Chain Fools, eponymic track, by the bass riffs of How I Want U and No More and the saxophone parts. Then the Old school voices are added, still in the air, in a cosy ambience, sometimes crossed by the spleen and obviously rooted in the House codes. A combination NuDisco/NuFunk signed by Nior The Discus Thrower, which he alone owns the secret.

One of the standout tracks from Joey Negro’s Produced With Love album and a firm favourite of Gilles Peterson, "Distorting Space Time" gets the full remix treatment.

Kicking it off is Chicago legend Ron Trent, who provides his own take on the original funked out, Arthur Russell flavour, moving it into deeper, more housed up territory.

Fouk bring their hazy, jazz tinged style building the remix around those warm Rhodes chords, shuffling rhythm and low pulsating bassline. 

Joey Negro adds his own new Space Funk remix featuring Kaidi Tatham on keys which is a deep, jazzy broken beat groove with extra vocoder solo from Sunburst regular Tony Remy.
