Now the richly textured and atmospheric EP is getting a striking remix package featuring three distinct voices in electronic music. One of whom is Mathew Jonson, who has created a mind-bending journey out of the original.

72 Minutes Of Scrubs A Day is melancholic, bouncy, dubby and groovy, the outstanding sample that dominates the entire song is ultra catchy and you will have serious problems to get it out from your ears, for sure it reminds us some of the best cavernous American deep house music that we have ever heard in the early nineties. 
Cornelinda instead tells you about pure love passion, itʼs sexy, hopey, one of those tracks who wants to take you somewhere and stay there with you foreverandever, and itʼs all about raw analogue pleasure for your feet. 
Wacko, in the end, is the more experimental and cracked out moment of the ep, where an almost nonsense groove matches perfectly with a freeky bassline with the intention to cross the border between modern house, impro and wonky beats..

Michael, a.k.a Mashrik, who is originally from Lebanon, currently resides in NYC. He is the co-founder of Kuná, an NYC based event series. He decided to make a music compilation of original tracks from a total of 20 exceptional artists from every part of the globe who agreed to support the cause. The purpose of this compilation is to fundraise money to help rebuild Lebanon. A lot of NGOs are on the ground collecting foreign aids as the government cannot be trusted.

Our goal is to raise as much as possible by selling the compilation through several distribution and streaming platforms. For this reason, we decided to partner with Inward Records, the Label that’s Co-owned by the duo @sparrowandbarbossa and Pippi Ciez who is the maestro behind the amazing mastering of the tracks.

100% of the proceeds from the compilation will go directly to NGOs in Lebanon, such as the Lebanese Red Cross, Impact Lebanon, Nawraj. We will communicate about this in more details and explain how the money will be allocated to different causes.

We, the Kuná founders and Inward Team, are humbled to have so many talented artists agreeing to offer their music as a mean to bring people together to support a good cause and make a difference in a country that desperately needs help.
