Procession - A Humanitarian Song Project

This song was born out of the desire to raise our voices and contribute to vital humanitarian aid in Gaza and Westbank. 

We are a collective of musicians from 6 different countries, united by our commitment to stand up for human rights by creating music that can reach, and open the hearts of those who listen.

Procession - A Song for Hope - is our first collaboration and is dedicated to support the Palestinian population in their struggle for survival amidst the current humanitarian catastrophe. Our hope and ambition is that this lullaby will resonate with and amplify the voices of those in need.
The three sets of lyrics — one in English and two in Arabic — focus on the indisputable fact that we are all part of the same humanity, emphasising that we are all born equal and deserving of dignity, love and compassion. 

We, as individuals and as a group, unequivocally condemn any acts of violence and measures of oppression that violate the Charter of Human Rights — whoever the aggressor, and no matter what reason is used to justify them.

Fascinating Rhythm / Evidence

Alba Nacinovich (voice) and Francesco De Luisa (piano) started “Questionin’ Answers” in 2013 with the idea of getting rid of preconceptions and inherited impositions about instruments roles, arranging and improvisation approaches or repertoire choices. Leaning on interplay as the musical core, nothing is excluded, they want to make sure their choices are theirs indeed, while remaining ready to re-question them again. With great respect of the jazz tradition, but no genre prejudices, they enjoy playing George Gershwin’s as well as Chris Potter’s, Lou Reed’s or Jacques Brel’s songs.
Getting lost here is not a fear but a secret desire.
