Deep, slow pulsing basslines carry the exotic cargo of sound; pretty and gritty instrumentation, the ululation and trill of womens' traditional vocal techniques, and the swoop of mens' choruses.  North African rhythms shuffle and sway beneath the cresting timbre of taught, bluesy guitars, purposeful sintirs and the cascade of Malian harps (ngonis). Hand-claps and qraqebs (double-ended metal "castanets") chatter  hypnotically around the deep, definitive low end which craft the ethos of this 60-minute journey across the desert cultures of Mali, North Western Sahara, Morocco and Algeria.

The Tuareg inhabit the Saharan regions of North Africa - Niger, Mali, Libya, Algeria and Burkina Faso. From Wikipedia: The origins and meanings of the name Tuareg have long been debated. It would appear that Twārəg is derived from the broken plural of Tārgi, a name whose former meaning was "inhabitant of Targa", the Tuareg name of the Libyan region commonly known as Fezzan. No one knows the true origin of the Tuareg, where they came from or when they arrived in the Sahara. Today I crafted this pretty 'n gritty downtempo journey of blues and bass meets Folktronic Americana; it's the soundtrack to your longing...and lockdown. I feel ya, I got ya.   

Music meandering like the Mississippi and swampy like the bayou,  this grimy grip of downtempo speaks from a snatch of six-string, a chatter of banjos, lonesome  voices and pondering bass lines...

A los 16 años le llegó su primer equipo de mezclar, en vinilo.
En su pueblo natal, fueron varios grandes amigos
con los que se inició en este arte, apadrinados por hermanos y amigos mayores
que ya se dedicaban a poner música de baile en programas de radio y
fiestas locales. Y  a los que Sergio y sus amigos, escuchaban detrás
de la puerta con gran interés y cierto hipnotismo.
A los 17 ( 1992 ) entró a formar parte de la cabina de residentes de
6mic junto a Beto, luego esta ,misma sala se convirtió en Codig (1997) y allí le
llegarón influencias por compartir cabina con DJs como J Rob, Fredd Tassy,
Cibersonic y otros de la mítica Rachdinge, en Gerona.
Ese sonido le causó impacto, pues la sentia desde muy a dentro... y q se asemejaba mucho a lo q a él ya le gustaba, tipo NoomRecords, Bonzai, Platipus, Attack Récords, JinxRec ( acid trance y hardtrance) ...y justo ahi fue cuando descubrió el Goa y el estado mistico del Trance.
De un modo innato, decidieron con sus amigos ir a las montañas...
