This reminds me of playing WIPEOUT on PS1 for some reason? Probably just me... lol - & one of the most trippy tracks i've heard for a while! Nice work!!!

Some idea I threw together a while back half-arsed out into a full thing that I didn't bother to mix. Named so because that's kinda what some of the percussion sounds like. Known formerly as G Minor Thing.

Table Tennis

This is likely my last track for who knows how long. Good note to go out on though, I got very experimental with this and made the main theme from the 1933 Invisible Man movie a primary sample for me to chop up and transpose into whatever weird 'melody' I fancied, and I'm quite proud of the result.

Greetings folks...it has been actual years since I've uploaded anything here, so here we go!  Got super inspired by some liquid / neuro drum and bass styles and gave it a go with my own spin on it.  I'll give it a for real proper mixdown and set it free for release at some point, but for now I hope you'll enjoy.  This is the first solo track I've done in quite a while after being devoted primarily to our Birds of Paradise releases, thanks for your stellar love, support and patience over the years, it is truly appreciated.

Here you go my friends, something different from me….

This is not a promo mix and I’m not trying to generate work off the back of it, it’s simply a mid-tempo DJ mix.  I have been collecting tracks for a while that didn’t seem to fit anywhere in my sets, but that I really love, so I decided to put them into a mix in their own right… music with a late night, deep & sleazy electronic feel, full of atmosphere, with a splattering of dark funk thrown in. 

I’ve got plenty of brand new peak time releases coming shortly on my Lowering The Tone imprint, from Pook/ & Lola, Lee Coombs, Matt Goddard/Dopamine, Ben Coda, Carbon Kingdom and myself, but in the meantime welcome to the “Den Of Iniquity” :-)

It's the first time I feel I really have a style that I enjoy (though track 2 doesn't at all conform to that style and was a pain to produce resultantly). Anyway, it's an album themed around psychological healing which goes dark to light in tone. Hope you enjoy.

A bit of a departure for me, this is a mix of my favourite deeper and more chilled breakbeat tracks. This kind of music really speaks to me about the situation we are in with COVID-19 and lockdown all over the globe, while Spring is blossoming so gloriously in my corner of the world. This is also my first public breakbeat set mixed on CDJs, so to add to the emotion, I am also feeling very proud of how far I have come as a DJ since I started to mix 5 years ago! Emotion

I was planning to make a chillout-style EP for a very long time, ever since a few months after the release of Healing the Wounds actually. But for whatever reason, my motivation to produce has been completely killed off recently. I made ideas for 3 other tracks for that EP but this was the only one I liked enough that I could get the motivation to finish it, in fact this is my favourite track I've made. So see it as the single from the project that could have been.

Singularity

I love many kinds of music but my main passion is for progressive, evolving, epic and psychedelic sounds. Although I'm probably best known for my enthusiastic advocacy of Progressive Psybreaks over the past few years, ultimately whether a tune is classified as breaks, techno, trance, house, dnb or chill, is less important than the shapes, textures and feelings it evokes. If you like journeys, take a trip with me...

I've been DJing properly since 2007 on CDJs (after many years spinning vinyl as a hobby), very quickly becoming established on net radio stations and in the South's club scene. I had my first festival gig, ad-hoc on a small stage at Waveform 2009. 2010 saw my London debut in May, and I was booked for Glade Festival until its cancellation at the hands of the anti-fun brigade; by way of compensation I played a 3-hour set at Waveform 2010. In 2011 I finally got to play at Glade and also Bearded Theory festivals, and in 2012 I had my busiest ever year with bookings for various festivals and my debuts in Liverpool and Manchester. 

I also produce my own tunes - so far I've had two very well-received tracks released on VIM, and there is more in the pipeline.

Twice a month I host "Quexotic Adventures" on NSB Radio (http://www.nsbradio.co.uk), playing the best new promos and releases, with a particular focus on psybreaks and occasional forays into glitch-hop and dnb. It's usually the first and third Saturdays of the month, from 19:00 UK time.
