Johan Sebastian es un DJ y productor asentado en Madrid. Su carrera musical comenzó en Londres, donde se hizo un nombre en salas como Egg LDN, Bloc, Ministry of Sound y Shelter. A partir de ahí, tuvo la oportunidad de compartir escenario con artistas destacados en clubs de Europeos como Golden Gate (Nápoles), Fundbureau (Hamburgo) y Kremlin (Lisboa). Desde su llegada a Madrid, ha participado en eventos de Crow, NewFaces, Phase.CTV, Bunkers Collective, LoopStage, AlterEgo, Hölle y Oxtechne. Además de comenzar su residencia con Symbole Community a comienzos del 2023, donde sigue creciendo e innovando como artista en la escena local.



Su música ha salido en compilaciones  de diversos sellos Europeos como Platform 22, Canticle, Influenced, Beluga, PRTL WRX, Obskura y Re.flect. Sus 2 últimos EPs , disponibles en Bandcamp, reflejan su evolución como como productor. Cada una de sus producciones se enfoca en ritmos contundentes y elementos hipnóticos pensados para la pista de baile.



Su estilo abarca diferentes subgéneros del techno, los cuales van desde el deep/dub, hasta el sonido tribal y hardgroove de los 90s y 00s. Adapta su selección musical según cada momento, manteniendo una energía constante a lo largo de sus sets mediante transiciones fluidas, elementos rítmicos dinámicos y atmósferas envolventes

SIIIO is a Singaporean-born, London-based producer and DJ whose sound draws from the raw energy of Electro, Techno, and Punk subcultures. His work reflects the unique tension of navigating life between two cities, blending industrial soundscapes with Southeast Asian percussion and samples to express a sense of cultural dissonance.

Starting his musical journey as a member of Singaporean emo band Xingfoo&Roy in 2013, they released two LPs and two EPs, and toured across Malaysia, Indonesia, and Japan.
His DIY ethos, deeply rooted in the punk and emo scenes, continues to shape his approach to electronic music.

SIIIO’s latest EP, SABO, channels influences from Russian Electro Punk and EBM, genres he discovered after relocating to London. Constantly evolving, SIIIO pushes boundaries with a sound that reflects his diverse influences and experiences.

Which artists has influenced you the most?
- Many artists over the years, but as for 2025 here are some that I keep going back to (in alphabetical order): BLUMITSU, Calagad 13, COIDO, EID55558.55, Errortica, GLYNY, IMOGEN, K-65, Somnolent Works.

What new projects/releases with your participation are expected in the near future?
- Been deep in the process this past month, putting together a self-release EP — something different from the usual sound.
A few label drops are also in the pipeline. Gonna play some parties in London and looking to play more around the world so hit me up if you're keen to do something together (:

Which artists/labels is more relevant to you now?
- Been loving Mechatronica's releases these past few years. Also massive shoutout to Ovelha Trax, Gestalt Promo & Tripallium Corp 🖤

What inspires you now to create music?
- I’m drawn to the idea of disruption as a way to question what we accept as normal/mainstream.
Music gives me space to reflect, challenge norms, and communicate things that aren’t easy to say out loud.

Centrikal (Patrick Frye) is a DJ and producer who specializes in electro and draws from his background in house and techno. His production and DJ sets showcase decades of experience, including collaborations with artists like DJ Slip and Freaky Chakra, and a release alongside Grammy-nominated artist Style of Eye.
His music has been released on labels including SubSensory, Particle Music, Peloton Musique, Radda Records, Innerflight Music, Nude Photo Music, bleepsequence, and his own An1mlz Music.

As a member of the Nu Habitat and 23L3CTRO crews based in Portland, Oregon, Centrikal is an active force in the local music community, organizing and participating in events that champion underground dance music.

Daniel Hertz is a DJ and producer of Mexican roots based in Barcelona. His activity is focused around techno, electro and house, although his early influences stem from the local dub and soundsystem scene.

Labels which have released his work include Diodes, Simplexia and Planetaria's Plan-G sublabel, through which he released his debut EP. His productions, including a number of independent releases, have received the support of artists such as Dave Clarke, Daria Kolosova, Merca Bae, Hermeth and Orion Agassi.

He is also a dedicated promoter, event organizer, record collector and visual artist, occasionally combining audio-reactive visuals with his DJ sets.

Maschine Brennt is the electronic project of Swedish producer Joacim Thenander, active in the scene since the late 1980s. Originally launched in 1991 as a side project to Cultivated Bimbo, Maschine Brennt explores the intersection of man and machine — blending classic ’80s electro aesthetics with modern precision.
After years of producing house, techno, and drum ’n’ bass, the project was revived in 2014 with releases on Plonk, Encrypted Records, Battery Park Studio, Ukonx Recordings, Bass Agenda Recordings, and Connectome Records.
Maschine Brennt has also remixed artists such as The System, Emmon, Kretz, Datapop, and Vogon Poetry, and contributed DJ mixes to Tracklistings, Dark Science Electro, Noise To Meet You, and several editions of Encrypted Transmissions.
This mix reflects his ongoing dedication to deep, machine-driven rhythms — merging dark techno energy with the timeless pulse of the Düsseldorf electro tradition.

PULSAR 018 | MASCHINE BRENNT

Joining me for this first special lockdown episode is Seville based, Columbian born Johan Sebastian. 

Meeting Johan a little while back I was struck by his passion for the scene and the music we love. Shortly after that he was showcasing his own event “Eighth Road” at London’s we’ll known BLOC venue.

following this I was invited to play at showcase alongside Johan, Szier and Siah. Where I see Johan’s talent exceed expectations with an incredible closing set after DJ rush. Since Johan has been pushing his own ideas in the studio which has lead to a brilliant release on our own Platform 22 imprint.  

On tonight’s episode I’ll be asking Johan more about his experience with showcasing events in London as well as his Studio set up and workflow. Plus what feeds his inspiration through this current situation
