Both coming from the emerging @phonovisioncologne crew, @arnocologne and Various Identities have been storming clubs in Germany, and now they bring their infamous B2B to our DETECT series. 

The duo are known for their vinyl-only sets that focus on 1990s - 2000s progressive tribal and trance, 0effortlessly blending back and forth between the two.

They have recorded an exclusive mix for our DETECT series

For the 7th "VISION OF" episode we welcome Cologne based DJs @locrianmode and @djbrause, who are pushing a new type of sound in the local club-horizon. Since the early days, they share the same passion of music that forms into a distinctive and playful sound. Equipped with rushing techno and oldschool sounds, this mix represents their favour for a tribal but also melodic preference. Besides, last year, the two co-founded the collective "Cirkle" - So better look out for them if you have the chance!

The guest of the next episode of our podcast series is a digger, vinyl collector and a member of the WE LECIM collective, who is stationed in Katowice every day. Today in the #183 installment we welcome Shhron!

[BIO]:
Shhron – DJ and promoter from Katowice (Poland). Known mainly with his selection orbiting around electro and techno generes. In his music libary you can find also a lot of faster tracks with „ghetto” flavours. He collects vinyl and digital releases. 

One of five members from WE LECIM collective. On the stage present since 2020. From the beginning fascinated with futuristic electro vision which we’ve could meet around 80’s and 90’s in the Detroit electro pioneers releases.

Involved with promoting electro generes on the silesian stage. This is why he could share stage for example with Jensen Interceptor, Sansibar or Luz1e. 
His music selection visited most of the leading polish underground clubs: P23 (Katowice), Szpitalna 1 (Krakow), Ciało (Wroclaw), Jasna 1 (Warsaw), Schron (Poznan). Presently you can find him regularly at club CEL (Katowice), with which he is unofficialy connected.

What inspires your creative work?
Little glichtes or stumbles that I've never heard before that make a song interesting.

What is your motivation/intentions?
Just having fun? I am Djing for 9 years now and never saw it as a career or anything. I am always humbled if someone wants to book me. There is so much talent out there!

What was your first genre that caught your interest in music?
I think back in the days it was probably New Rave, French Touch, Future Garage and all this weird and short-lived crossover genres that made me turn to electronic music. Before I listened a lot to Soul, RnB, Jazz and Rap.

What is/are your most memorable moment
That’s really hard to pin down!

Describe your style in a tweet 
Oi... I’ve been playing Rap music, Jazz, Techno, House, Bass.....idk.... I am always evolving and easily bored. But currently I like to play Progressive House with my Galleur alias and very hard hitting Trance with my b2b project Surf 2 Glory.

Name your funniest playlist name.
I always sort everything by genre. Therefore, no funny surprises.

According to you, which upcoming artists should we keep an eye on?
THC, Malugi , Sedaction, Ttyfal, Evin, Zeynep, Ferrari Rot , Jessica Nightlife , Zips, DHC, Sanaz

What are your thoughts on interdisciplinarity?
We should all support each other. As soon as I dig someone’s character, energy or work, I should be supportive. Nothing else.

DJ OPTIK is a self proclaimed old school vinyl slinger. Leaning into the nostalgic roots of Techno, He plays classic tracks from the late 90's and early 2000's. Hailing from Ireland DJ OPTIK started his DJing journey playing in Dublin, but since moving to Berlin his record collection has swelled and so has his passion for the craft. Having recently played the infamous HÖR live stream in May he proved his caliber on the international stage, Delivering a stand out performance and paving an exciting future for himself.
