Following on from the well-received releases of Ennui & This Water is Wet, Quiet Tongues come back with a bang with their first release of 2023, staying true to their ‘Genre-Bending’ and ‘Timeless’ sound.

One of the most consistent songs in the band's set since the pre-pandemic days of Modra Luna, She’s Velvet has undeniably become a fan favourite. Inspired by the sounds of Blur & Queens of the Stone Age the band can’t wait for you to hear the penultimate single release of ‘She’s Velvet’ before the release of their debut EP later in the year.

With fierce, intricate rhythms, mosaic and dazzling guitars, bittersweet abstract lyricism and an influence ranging from Queens of The Stone Age, FOALS and Tame Impala all the way to Massive Attack and Talking Heads, Quiet Tongues come with a unique approach to Alt Rock that stirs the primal in us all.
Formed in 2019 under the name Modra Luna, the four piece consists of Domokos Wootsch (drums), Dan Nunan (bass), Jack Ewins (guitar), and Seth Tonkin (guitar and vocals). But keep it hush hush!
