It began over a decade ago, in a cold Language Arts classroom in Winter Park, FL. Rapper Quin$y Santana of 9Milli was inspired by the flow and aesthetic sound of poerty and music. Being the youngest of four in an unstable household, Quin$y often delt with adversities that would follow and affect him for the remainder of his adolescence such as anger, anxiety and lonliness. Despite being born in Jackson Mississippi (One of the countries most underdeveloped capitols) he never allowed that or the struggle of living in over 15 different homes and attending 15 different schools determine where he would end up. Using freestlye rapping as a way to channel his everyday struggles Quin$y found himself developing into not only a poet turned rapper, but a music visionary. Taking small pieces from some of his favorite artist such as Michael Jackson, 50 Cent, Lil Wayne, J. Cole, and Lil Pump Quin$y 9MILLI has expanded and grown into a lyrical student to the game, along with the help of his team and fellow artist associated with 9MILLI.
