01 Want Me Too

This song has been in my arsenal for years. I used to play it live with the Tobacco River Band in and around Detroit. I wrote the lyrics about a traveling musician being on the road…hard times, good times, roadside dives, big cities, woman, whiskey and living wild and free strumming on a six string. This song changed a bit from its original version…it used to be heavy guitar riff driven and now its more of a stomp. 
One of my favorite it lines....“I’m on the highway to hell, the American dream”.
