FINALLY, after 3 years in the making and countless hours of programming, the debut full-length release by Dev/Null is finally here. Actually Cock Rock Disco was founded to release Pete Cassin AKA Dev/Null's record back almost 2 years ago.

Lazer Thrash is probably one of the most advanced electronic albums ever created in our opinion, somehow musical and friendly while literally breaking the speed barrier of what is possible. Cassin throws in references to everything from grindcore to classic rave; chip tunes, space-jazz and doom metal all having a space in his strange musical world.

This rare and special uniqueness in Dev/Null's sound has already won him a huge number of underground fans. He's probably one of the best-known breakcore producers even though he has a limited release history. But he holds a new special place as being one of the most downloaded new producers shared world wide via P2P networks. We're proud to finally release this amazing- dare we say ground breaking- debut release from our friend Dev/Null, and we feel you'll be a fan too when you give it a listen.

Ove-NaXx has been a long-time friend of ours and a part of the global Breakcore scene ever since the early 2000s.   His unique style has always been an inspiration and his wild, unpredictable live shows are legendary.  Straight outta the suburbs of Osaka, Japan, Ove-NaXx was armed with a beat-up MPC, a punk attitude, and an uncanny ability to slice any sound.

“Bullets From Habikino City HxCx” was originally released on DJ Rupture’s Soot label way back in 2003. This is his second official release, but a few of these tracks were also on his self-released first album “Shoot-Accel-Core”.  Ove-NaXx combines, traditional Japanese songs, trash-can beats, even western classical music to create a sound that hits hard.  You get the feeling that literally anything can happen in these songs – and usually does.

We are proud to add 5 previously unreleased songs with this album. They were found on a CDR we had in storage from the same year and we feel they make a release that is impossible to miss. Please share with your friends!

Earlier this year Cock Rock Disco released Ove NaXx’s classic 2003 album “Bullets From Habikino City HxCx” along with 5 additional unreleased tracks from the same time period. Those that knew it were excited to hear it again (and peep the unreleased stuff) and those that heard it for the first time were filled with a sense of terrified awe. We were surprised by the feedback from a new generation of producers and thought it might be time to rip these old tunes up and give them a dash of 2015. But we never expected to get remixes as fucking incredible as what we’ve been able to collect here…

We are THRILLED to present 9 tracks by old friends and new-school alike – each throwing their unmistakable spin on these classic Ove NaXx tracks. As you’ll hear the remixes range from the rave-footwork styling of Melt Unit and Capt. Raveman to the far-out industrial club of Brain Rays to the absolutely bat-shit crazy DJ California Crisis: Ove Naxx even threw-up a brutal-dub self-remix!! So come on, raise a beer to welcome newcomers (to our label at least) Gelido from Australia, Ambivalence from the Czech Republic, and KenKo Taiji from Japan!! We feel their remixes are among some of the very best we’ve heard in ages!!!

Lastly, a major shout-out to Droon who re-mixed the cover. Everyone know’s he’s the best. HIGH5 to our man Martin Sülzenbach who made the videos that we will post for each track. And many thanks to Sean Doyle (aka Melt Unit) for mastering it all!
