Kwin’s Brief Bio
Kwin Nijs was born in 1984 in Leuven and grew up in Kortrijk (Belgium).  As a child he was always fascinated by music.  At the age of 12 he went to music school and found his passion studying Strings.  Soon he was dusting down his mother’s old guitar and covering various songs.   He went on to write his own music.  At the age of 16 Kwin started the live band ‘Need.A.Nurse’ together with three friends, where he did vocals and played rhythm-guitar.  After the band went their own ways he established ‘Quinn’ in 2011, an acoustic solo project with the ultimate intention to establish a full band.  Kwin started writing again and soon made his way back to the stage with try-outs.  In 2013 he entered ‘The Best  Singer-Songwriter of Flanders’ where he got to the last 21 finalists.  Kwin enjoyed the challenge, returning to the studio to further develop his music and recordings.  ‘Quinn’ is a mix of acoustic pop-rock with a dreamy edge.  Enjoy!
