Picking up where Triform left off, the prodigiously talented Matthias turns in one of his most impressive works to date with a four track EP showcasing the breadth of his sound.

The mercurial Placid is one of his most original works. An intricate journey that builds to the orchestral backdrop being shattered by a bold acidic lead.

While the title track is a headier affair, Liturgic Acid Year is aimed squarely at the dancefloor; a rolling acid groove awash with lush pads punctuated by jittery percussive fills.

On the B side, the otherworldly Enon takes things into darker territory; with sophisticated arps materializing over a metronomic bassline.

Finally, the unique Omega Doom makes up the EP. A study in contrast, it sees 90’s stabs and frenetic toms juxtaposed against apocalyptic strings - giving the track a distinct prog sensibility.

Over the course of the year, the label has assembled four different compositions reflecting each artist's devotion and fascination for synthesizers and drum machines. Melancholic arpeggiators, funk-driven techno grooves, and sharp-filtered vocoded sequences written by Edward Norton. Joyful minor-key bass lines carved into electro-wave atmospheres over Roland Tr-606, 808 rhythms summarize the sound palette behind "Nolla" a work programmed by Konerytmi, a brainchild of longtime electro musician Kirill Junolainen. The trance-inducing "Untitled 7" was written a long time ago by Jay Relf, Keyboardist of Astralasia & Magic Mushroom band before he left the group to work on solo projects and as Solar Plexus. "Out Of Reality" evokes transcending techno-ethereal, hope-giving atmospheres. Rickie's sound includes tribal-obscure early 90s influences around themes of lysergic trance-inducing pads.

Quinoa Experience, the Madrid based collective, is eager to unveil the long-anticipated first release of their new label – Quinoa Cuts - entitled “The Nutritionist’s Guide to the Galaxy, Vol. I”.

On the A we find a ‘’Vitamin’’ side, where fresh, subtle and deep grooves will stimulate the listeners’ appetite to get them levitating, introspectively. While the B-side, the ‘’Protein’’, is best saved for climatic dancefloor moments and muscle-building workouts.

Emerging from Tunisia, Pan-J serves us the vitamin supplements. Solid and funked-up basslines with hefty doses of swing amount to sunny and radiant minimal house productions. Colorful and engaging, his tracks will dissipate all traces of fatigue from your body. Two ritual-ready tunes with a proggy approach that don’t  neglect moments of suspense.
 
Flip it and we find the protein powders by a Ukrainian artist Roma Khropko, co-founder of Criminal Practice – a prominent Kiev DJ collective and label. His side speeds ahead with playful organ chords, subversive solar rave fits with killer samples, sweeping percussion shifts and delightful switch-ups that send the record straight into orbit.
