Vivrant marks its milestone 50th release with a two-track melodic club behemoth from label head Jeremy Olander, reaffirming his status as a master of evocative, forward-thinking electronic music.

Comprised of lead track “Shedsdrums” followed by “Samus,” the EP is steeped in Jeremy’s unmistakable MO: emotional, melodic, and cinematic. With nods to both contemporary melodic house and old-school progressive, the release is a seamless blend of blissful chord progressions, infectious drumwork, and finely tuned FX detailing—hallmarks of Olander’s production ethos.

“Shedsdrums” is a hypnotic builder, marrying atmospheric textures with driving low-end pressure. The track opens with a subtle tension, slowly revealing layers of percussive intricacy and emotive synth motifs that shimmer just beneath the surface. Jeremy’s deft touch is evident in the pacing with each element being introduced with intention, creating a cinematic sense of space.

In contrast, “Samus” carries a warmer, more buoyant energy. Driven by a confident groove and underscored by lush harmonic swells, the track evolves with purpose, building into a radiant melodic theme that feels like sunrise breaking over a dancefloor. It’s euphoric, yet restrained, striking the balance between the emotional storytelling and dancefloor functionality that defines Jeremy’s sound.

"Stay" began during a jam session where I was experimenting with a new virtual instrument I had just picked up called Anamorph. There was no intention to write a full track at the time; I was simply exploring what the instrument could do. Because of that, I wasn’t too precious about the parts I was laying down but I quickly grew fond of the idea forming! It all started with the main riff. I loved how it evolved over time and I kept jamming with it. Everything fell into place from there! “Stay" has since become one of the most requested IDs in my sets, and it’s always a lot of fun to play live! I’m excited that it’s out and even more excited to have my first release with Insomniac and their ‘Interstellar’ imprint. - Marsh
