Samsara Cabaret is the journey of our Heroine, Artemis, through death and rebirth. Presented at Faena Theater in the gorgeous Faena Hotel, Samsara Cabaret has received many accolades for the beauty of the show, performers and soundtrack.
An eclectic mix of genres, Samsara's soundtrack weaves pop, rock, EDM and classical music into unique arrangements which are both sung and played by gifted vocalists Yoli Mayor and EnVee, drummer Alejandro Zon, and the eclectic string duo, cellist Ben Muñoz and Shane Borth on violin.
Each song was carefully chosen to shape the identity of each act, creating an emotional voyage for the audience as they watch Artemis transform before their eyes.
Enter the world of Samsara, where the end is only the beginning.

01. Samsara Overture - Artemis' Death

"The Raiders March" (a.k.a. "Indiana Jones Theme") from the Raiders of the Lost Ark soundtrack, released by Columbia Records in 1981. The music was composed and conducted by John Williams, and performed by the London Symphony Orchestra.

Composed as a part of the project “Transglobal Exodus Complex” - Chapter ASIA FILES, this new track plays with various motives of the “Far East” fantasy and resumes [dunkelbunt]s earlier sampling and turntablism experiments.

The reference to the feature film of the same name and to the topic of atomic bombing was at first rather associative: The theme of yearning for a different, “Oriental” world is reflected in the bitter-sweet violins (erhu), in the percussive plucked strings and in the song line recorded by the singer Lisa Cantabile: "Ne me quitte pas, mon Amour".

Due to the deliberately associative production process and in the context of current DJ mixes such as "Bass of Asia" and "Bass of India", the track "Hiroshima Mon Amour" is a further step within [dunkelbunt]s exploration of the topics "Asia" and "Far East". It includes dark aspects such as civilization collapse and climate change into the musical imagination. Daniel Krammer’s artwork, which was carried out in the [dunkelbunt]-studio, integrates these apocalyptic vibes, but remains - just like the leisurely shuffling track - confident and serene.

Our generation has taken many causes but the most important cause is sometimes forgotten and that's our planet's ecosystem. Today our planet still waits urgently for our action and with the latest events, Mother Earth itself is screaming to humanity to slow down and reconnect with her in a spiritual way.

Modern societies have been treating Mother Earth as if it was their property; extracting resources, polluting constantly, changing the landscape, killing the other animals and destroying its natural balance.

Since the Industrial Revolution, humanity has killed 83% of all wild mammals and half of all plants of the Earth. Two hundred species of living beings are going extinct every single day. We collectively need to change so many things in areas such as the use of plastic, meat consumption, contaminating energies, day to day overconsumption and more. How can artists raise awareness regarding this?

Thinking on how to be simple but at the same time Universal, Cosmovision Records presents ¨Animals of the Earth¨. For this project we have gathered to co-create an ecosystem that lives in a music album. Producers from many places on Earth explored their connections with our animal cousins, remembering that the monkey, the wolf, the polar beer and all the others are our partners in the long trip that this green and lively planet takes in the Universe.

We invite you to come with us on this journey through the musical ecosystem of the ¨Animals of the Earth vol.2¨ to discover, respect and care for these beautiful beings that live with us.
