This mix is a nostalgic adventure of sounds, a story with a hopeful narrative, containing the tones of beautiful instrumentals and angelic vocals throughout.

Next in line for the plant series, presenting the berlin based producer, Glint 🧚🏼‍♂️. They have been at the forefront of the contemporary ambient scene, with beautiful tracks such as ‘ I’ve seen you before’ and ‘2 times too’, also showcasing their sound on a recent mix for ‘expired’.

Glint takes a unique approach inviting the listener to travel through intervals of time, intimately focusing on sentimentality and location using a collage of field recordings and Interludes of different sounds that shine through.

Penultimate Press is proud to present the debut full length from Komare, a UK outfit based somewhere between south-eastern edges of London borough and the Swale.  

Komare is Dominic Goodman and Peter Blundell who also make up two thirds of Mosquitoes. Somewhat of an estranged cousin to Mosquitoes take on re-ruffled rock, Komare resides more as a dub influenced exploration of the outer fringes, creating a thick vibrational delusion. 

Somehow like Zweistein mixing a Robert Ashley record, Komare is an exceptional space and time stretching disorientator.  In the process of rendering reality redundant Komare gleefully lead the listener into a netherworld of holographic, hallucinatory audio. Shades of Monoton and Pyrolator may also be detected as can the impression of intoxicants wafting around the mixing consule. This is a state where humans and machines, though present, are smeared of all traceable attributes. The depths of the journey moves further into a netherworld as the album progresses/disintergrates. 

Not necessarily one for the beauty seekers, Komare is an extremely deep trip concocted by two unbridled creative crusaders.

Reworks is a compilation of 4 tracks that are reshaped and compiled on a very Limited Edition vinyl and digital as well. From ambient to downtempo acid-like tracks, each song is made on a hardware set-up only.

"You're Searching For Nothing" & "Music For An Empty Train" were initially edited on my first EP on I Low You Records in April 2020. "Lost Track" is an old recording that was produced in 2018 and edited in September 2020. It was initially recorded for my ambient EP "Panorama" which was edited on Unse Records. "AC333T" is an improvisation on a 4-track tape recorder. It's the only track on this EP with a drum and acid bass-line.

Each track is produced with various modular synthesizers such as Korg MS-20, Behringer Crave, Behringer TD3, Yamaha DX100 and Yamaha MT1X in combination with several effect pedals.
