I layed down and inserted every individual sample in this track, this was a track i did with my dude john brown who lives in sacramento. I recorded my verses after finishing the beat and sent the track to him with his spots empty and mine recorded, 2 days later he sent the track back to me laced with his verses.

TOY GUNS Ft. John Brown

U.B. made this beat from scratch yo, he's a lil musician extraordinaire, he plays guitar and all that. The recording quality on this track isn't the best, vocals are a lil too sharp and poppy, despite that, I really enjoyed workin on this as an idea with the bul' U.B. We did this jawn back in like early 07'. I inserted the "Rocky" sample at the end of the track, and very conveniently, the timing when Rocky was speaking to his son fit perfectly through the verse and into the chorus. U.B. and I channeled our voices seperately in the beginning of the track with me on one speaker and himself on the opposite speaker so that it would sound like a real phone call. I love working with him yo, him and I get mad creative every single time we get together... He's one of the most multi-talented people I know. I got an abundance of respect for him.
