Select Cuts 352: Fejká (Live at Planetarium, Stuttgart)

It is this radiant smile that immediately makes you one with the man who is taking you on a journey. On a journey that makes him so happy that he absolutely wants to share it with you. Because his DJ sets are a journey. They tell a story of letting go, of being free and happy. The natural distance between artist and audience dissolves completely with him, because he is one of us. Lexer has become one of the best storytellers in electronic music. And not only in his sets, but of course also in his productions on labels like Oddity, Bedrock Records & Radikon. No question, his deep melodic techno touches people, because Lexer manages to finally give this music, which has been watered down for some years now by cheap showmanship, a soul again. For this he invests an incredible amount of heart and soul.

We travelled to Nusa Lembongan, Indonesia, a small island just next to Bali, to record something truly special. After exploring the island for days, we met Madei II, a local fisherman who kindly agreed to lend us his wooden boat. As the tide went out, we anchored in the middle of a calm lagoon at low tide, surrounded by sand, silence, and the golden light of the setting sun.

It was one of those moments where time stands still — the sound of waves in the distance, the reflection of the sky on shallow waters, and the music flowing freely. No stage. No crowd. Just nature, sound, and connection.
This set is a tribute to simplicity  — to the people we meet and the places that welcome us.We hope this moment brings you the same serenity it brought us
