"Temazcal is the essence of a long journey, the gift of an Aztec that would change her life. Long ago Temazcal discovered her preference for music from the electronic universe, in which she moved for many years. Fascinated by the fact that music is a language that everyone can understand without having to speak, she collected music over the years that triggered in her happiness hormones and feelings of freedom.

On one of her journeys through Mexico, as if by divine providence, she met the Aztec Sergio, who took her to a hidden Mayan village on the Yucatán in Mexico. There he invited her into the traditional ritual of the indigenous people. Temazcalli. The ritual is based on the four elements: Fire, Water, Earth and Air. The experience strengthened her spirituality and gave her the courage to take her music to the world.

Back home she started the event series "Four Elements" with the point to pass on her experiences to other people. With the support of artists like Tom Zeta or Oulad Omar guests could dive into the world of the four elements several times."

R.EK - L'Ouverture Du Bale #10 (live@Hive 080219)

Opposite Ways is an Italian-based duo from Milan comprised of Gabriele Bianchi and Gabriele Pavanati. To broaden their knowledge of electronic music, each member attended the Nut Academy in Naples where they found their sonorous imprint in melodic house.
A year later they landed their first EP on Three Hands Records, followed by another on Konfluenz Audio. Later they returned to Three Hands Records with their 'Nothing Is Lost' EP which includes a powerful remix by Modal, then their track 'Arrival' on Awen Records. Their first collaboration with the Mexican duo MIHØLNIR, led them to signing with Us & Them Records, which gained massive support from great artists such as Blancah, Amare, and Paul Anthonee. Following that, they also worked with OBENMUSIK and AddictedMusic and in 2019, they received support from the likes of Tale Of Us, Undercatt, Fideles, Fur Coat, Øostil and Soel, thanks in part to their 'Apparat-Brandenburg' unofficial edit and releases on Prisma Techno, WOOD and Venom Recordings.

Danny alias Danito, der seit 2004 in Köln lebt, wurde vom Ur-Techno direkt gepackt: „Ich weiß gar nicht mehr, was ich davor gehört habe“, schmunzelt er. „Klar gab es davor Einflüsse wie Kraftwerk, Jean-Michel Jarre, Depeche Mode, aber als ich circa 1993 die ersten komplett elektronischen Rave-Techno-Tracks gehört habe, wollte ich wissen wie diese Produktionen gemacht sind“, ergänzt der gebürtige Leipziger. Es war einfach das Neue, die Klänge, die wummernden Bässe, alles aus Maschinen, die glückseligen Raves und die Loveparade mit fast zwei Millionen Gästen, die ihn ansteckten und begeisterten – das gepaart mit ein wenig Interesse für Technik und es war um ihn geschehen. Musik ist ganz klar Dannys Lebenselexier! 

Zum DJing kam Danny relativ spät, obwohl er es um 1995 herum an den Plattentellern gelernt hatte. Er fing aber zunächst an, sich lieber mit der Technik auseinanderzusetzen, um eigene Tracks zu produzieren. Aber ohne Internet und schnelle PCs dauerte das auch einige Zeit. Als er dann seine ersten Geräte hatte, spielte er 1997 seinen ersten Liveact, was sich dann durch diverse Gigs, eigene  Veranstaltungen und einen eigenen Club – mit seinem Bruder zusammen – auch bis 2002 fortsetzte. „2005 begann ich dann Hybrid aufzulegen, also so ne Kombi in Ableton aus eigenen Tracks, Loops und Tracks von anderen mit Effekten und Controllern. Und Schlussendlich bin ich dann 2017 zu CDJs gewechselt“, berichtet er.

Einen Höhepunkt seiner musikalischen Laufbahn herauszupicken, fällt ihm bei so einer langen Karriere verständlicherweise schwer, aber dass er das Privileg hat, durch seine Musik um die ganze Welt zu reisen und mit wildfremden Leuten die gleichen Emotionen teilen kann und ihnen ein paar schöne Stunden bescheren kann, ist für ihn das eigentliche Highlight. Gerade ist das Herumreisen und vor allem das öffentliche DJing ja nur sehr eingeschränkt bis gar nicht möglich, aber Danny arbeitet auch als Musiklehrer und Privatcoach und das hilft ihm natürlich über diese schwere Zeit hinweg. Es hilft ihm auch dabei, mal eine kleine Produktionspause für sich selber einzulegen und die ganze Situation, die Szene und sich selbst zu reflektieren. „Es ist natürlich für viele andere sehr hart bis unmöglich, da man ja jetzt schon sechs Monate keine Gigs wahrnehmen konnte, aber ich hoffe, dass dieser ganze Prozess uns auch zu besseren Menschen macht, wir durchhalten und wir irgendwann wieder gemeinsam tanzen werden“, erklärt Danny.
