Duane Christopher Holung (R-kane;born June 9 1979),better known simply as R-kane,is an Canadian rapper, songwriter and entrepreneur.He is the son of Wayne Holung who is the owner of True Tone Music Ltd.R-kane started as a battle rapper at the age of 17 ,he has battled on underground radiostations and in the streets etc.R-kane was in a group with his longtime friend DenzKing ,the group was called King and Kane,King and Kane's first release was in summer 2000 ,Time is precious was the name of the E.P ,Time is precious got radio play on various toronto underground radio station's .Things didn't work out with the group King and kane so we both decided to do our own thing but nonetheless still good friends till this day.R-kane's dropped his first mixtape in 2005 (Terminator of rap),which was a free mixtape I handed out on toronto's streets for free.R-kane took a five year break from the rap game and came back in 2010 with his second mixtape (Northside to Worldwide)R-kane's first video (Grind till we elevate)a track off the mixtape was shot the following year,check it out on Youtube.In 2011 R-kane and his longtime friend MindWrecka came out with a group called T.N.F(TORONTO'S NEW FACE),T.N.F worked hard in the studio and came out with a album in 2012 called Grimey Guys from 905 ,check it out on itunes and checkout some of are youtube videos when you get a chance.R-kane is currently working on a Album you can check out some of his new music on reverbnation.SoundCloud.
